It's 3 after Ramsey got removed from the squad, were still shooting for a half, middle & xxxxxxx... we will be getting 3 players.. and we will be trying to get all 3 right now.. its not an either/or thing..

1) The halfback is not a negotiable, were obviously working hard on that.. and we have options.. we will get 1 of em
2) The prop is the one im more nervous about because lets assume we done get May, Lodge is off boxing, who on earth is left.. we might end up with a reserve grader.. which im not stoked about... the RCG loss might hurt us there.
3) The last spot I think is Douehi, quality ctr and halves coverage that we dont otherwise have.. but I do wonder if were holding off on that one.. in case anything speculative comes up.. hes not 'a requirement', hes a bonus.

I don't think JAC is high on our signing priorities or use of cap space.. but if Ravalawa or Lawrie left then maybe.. but its up to Flanno what he wants to do with that spot.. if it even eventuates.

Wrong. It was in an article the other day before Gutho signed that we had three spots left we are getting cap relief that is all.

He's not man.. logically it makes no sense for him to both be 'in' our Top30 but 'not' counted in the cap.. its 3 spots after Gutho, this probably explains it better:
"Dragons have been granted salary cap relief for Cody Ramsey in 2025. He will at this stage not be part of the top 30 squad but will still be paid in full (200k). However, the NRL have agreed that this won’t count towards the salary cap. This doesn’t rule out him potentially joining the top 30 at some point throughout the year, if he’s fit and if there’s space"

In other words if his condition gets better later in the year (and we have a free spot), of course we could bring him back in, but much like 2024 (where we went out and bought Nu Brown to replace him), Ramsey is out of our squad for the time being.. but we have to keep asking permission every year to continue the arrangement.. but surely he will know his future before 2026 rolls around, and either retire or we will get him a new contract.

Thanks for confirming included Eisenhuth as a top 30 player after hearing all of the reports, i feel the club should have held off on re-signing Feagai knowing how hard it would be to move on Ravalawa.
