Just saw Josh Reynolds has been given permission to look for offers elsewhere for 2020.

When he's on, I'm a huge fan of his intensity and energy and creativity, has that old school Mick Ennis type niggle (bit dumber).

If one of the Braileys goes our hooked stocks are f**ked...I don't mind Reynolds as a cheap and experienced hooker? At least to put pressure on whatever Brailey stays..

Honestly would rather him at 6 to Johnson too. Wests paying most of his salary makes him real good value..

I dunno, I doubt many in here are fans of him but I like his mongrel. Tommy Jr.

Surely

Played 9 games since becoming a tiger and on about 700-800k.

West Tigers will never get rid of him not on that kind of money.

Yes they will.

NRL.com understands the Tigers are willing to pay a large chunk of his salary, which will not only help Reynolds find a new home, but also free up space in the salary cap to ensure they can lure new players to the club.

If Next year Flanagan goes, Jayden Brailey goes as per rumours... where's you back up 6/9 or 14 to protect Blake Brailey's likely mid season exhaustion dip?

Not saying he's perfect but I think he'd bring more value to the squad than the available alternatives or green youth we hAve coming through

Why I would support getting him.

He is one of those club men who bring teams together. Like Heighington.

He’s not a sook. Hasn’t asked to leave and has in fact indicated he would stay. As a marquee signing when he went to Tigers he has every right to be miffed, but isn’t. Would be a good anti Prima Donna signing.

He gives 110% on the field.

He actually can do a lot of very good things on the field. Does a million 1%ers a game.

He can come and I’ll call him WD40. He can help clean out the rust.

Since you put it that way.

Makes sense.
Tigers have paid a few players for us.

It is definately a funny game this modern day league.

Each club is a melting pot of players mentalities, mixed with their player managers attitudes and agendas. Having coaches and players signed up to other clubs for the next year a third of the way through the current seasons.

Players signed and guaranteed the position they demand.

Get out clauses in contracts for bullshit minor matters.

Players playing for clubs whilst their previous club pays their wage. Players just walking out on big money contracts, and being allowed to, just to pursue something else.

Players fhaark up so whisk them off to Thai Rehab centres and if they are top qual players are much sought after on the rebound after the token "two weeks" treatment.

Yeah it is a funny old game now and I reckon it is only going to get worse.

Leonard Cohen got it right with Everybody Knows.
