Not sure Brisbane got the benefit of anything here pete. Thaiday is apparently more hated than Reynolds because of his jersey (no surprise) and his being kicked has reflected worse on him in the minds of the intelligentsia around here. If the roles had been reversed and Sam kicked Reynolds can you imagine the furore?

I can't help thinking a few crisp punches to Reynolds stupid doss-eyed face after the trip, followed by a send-off at that moment would have been better justice. But these days niggling little turds like Reynolds have a free hand to do what they like without fear of retribution.

His tears in the sheds will have to suffice.

The strangest part of this all is that if McCulough had laid a few in to Reynolds rather than the hole jersey grab thing the refs probably would have at least put Reynolds as well as McCullough in the bin for the trip causing that sort of a reaction. Maybe not, though.

Regarding the trip, I believe if it is regarded as trip it gets a lower penalty than if it was regarded as a kick (striking with the foot with intent)

I dare say he got a week for each incident.

Pretty sure I heard on Talkin Sport he got 2 for the trip, 1 for the kick and 0 for the high shot.

Right, it's all because of his jersey. Given this, can you explain why Parker rarely, if ever, has a bad word spoken about him by the same fans that think Thaiday is an absolute merkin? He wears the same jerseys (Donkeys, QLD, Australia).
