He got no weeks for the worst lifting tacklr this year (Tait) so he'll get away with this; absolute grub.

The trip is disgraceful. Didn't even attempt a tackle at all with his arms.
I'd rub him out for the season to set precedent for this style of play.
That could have turned out very bad, Yowyeh style.

Grade 5 tripping is 475 points, with loading for non similar offences (20%), he should get 5 weeks

I don't think it's grade 5. Probably 2 or 3, IMO.

The stupid thing is, if it actually injures Barba, that somehow makes what he did worse in the eyes of the NRL. Barba doesn't get injured (we hope, at this stage) and it's just put on report. What if Barba breaks his leg? Scott Prince style? The injury shouldn't determine the penalty, in this case, IMO.

Add the kick and the high shot, with his loading and carry over points, he'll be gone for the rest of the regular season. With any luck, that'll mean his season is over if the Bulldogs miss the finals.

The trip is horrendous. Don't recall seeing one anywhere near that bad before. Something like that should be outside the grading system and just throw the book at em, 10 or 12 weeks.

If that isn't a grade 5 then what is?

Maybe.

It was certainly deliberate, but like I said, there was no injury, so the NRL will be more lenient because of this (which I think is bullshit for the record).

If he does get a Grade 5, and a Grade 1 for the Kick and the High Tackle, with his carry over points and loading, he could potentially miss 6-8 games.

He's a poor mans Travis Burns. Not talented at all, just an aggressive person who is extremely competitive and can be handy to have at times. But when things aren't going so well, he's a deadset liability.

Agreed. He is an overrated thug. Should have got a month for his tackle on Tate. Referees have him now on their tip sheet which is a good thing.

Media personalities justify grub behaviour by calling the player "ultra competitive", I don't think that's competitive at all. I think that's a case of "I'm not good enough and neither is my team so I am going to do everything I can to hurt you"

He was clearly out to get Barba last night, from the blatant strip to the UFC-style trip, even his attempted late shot on Barba as he was scoring that try (good thing Barba got up quick to celebrate).. an absolute grub and doesn't deserve to be in the comp again this year

If that's a grade 2 or 3 I'd hate to see a grade 5. He didn't just stick his leg out, he deadset kicked him
