Publicly the NRL will be disappointed.

Privately they will be toasting Reynolds for being the hot topic of the weekend and providing valuable T.V. coverage for the sport ( don't buy into the disrepute nonsense all attention is good attention ).

Mark Geyer was just as good for the sport in the eighties.

I feel for Dogs fans who have to see that turd represent in their colors while the rest of the NRL laughs at him.

I'm not usually much for "bring back the biff", but it's pretty galling to see this turd prancing around in Origin doing whatever he feels like with everyone too scared to hit him for fear of getting sent or sin-binned. I really wish Thurston/Gillett (I think it was) had belted him at the end of Origin 2 rather than just held him down and threatened to do so.

Pretty much. Ever since you couldn't belt a merkin, or shoulder charge a punk, this chap has all of a sudden decided to play the tough guy thug machismo role. If the biff was back, this bloke would be thumped back to reality quick smart.

Just saw the kick to Thirdmanin's big noggin again. If Sam had charisma, athletism, likeability, talent and strength he'd be a candidate for the WWE. I score his dive 9.2/10.

It just happened to be Thaiday & so what if he milked it a little...if it had been someone else who didn't have a head like a bowling ball would you have been happy to see them with their face split open, lose an eye perhaps? Thaiday had just released his legs so the grub knew exactly where he was positioned - had to be the most theatrical "trying to get up to have a quick play-the-ball' ever if that was /is his defense.

Did I condone the act? No. I just stated that Thaiday made the most of the situation perpuating his reputation as a moron.

Mick Hancock has it all over him for that.

None of that happened or was ever likely to happen. In the 100+ years of the game tackled players have carried on like pork chops and that includes some lashing out with their feet. As bad as it can look, I don't think it's ever resulted in the bullshit scenarios you just invented.

0 weeks for the kick. Even though he probably knew what he was doing, players lash out all the time in the tackle.

1 week max for the high tackle.

No idea what the trip would be as I can't remember the last suspension or the last one as blatant as the one tonight. Probably won't be back until finals.
what finals, the fatties are dropping out the back of the 8.

His dive was Ennis and Bird combined with 5 times more drama

He might of put a bit of "drama" in going down. But let me put a pair of footy boots on and kick u in the face and see if u go down clutching at your face.
