Reynolds reaction wouldnt have been out of place 20-25 years ago when I played in the 80's. Now you have to be nice to your team mates and you are not allowed to say the wrong thing. If you did something wrong back then, you would expect and would get a complete serve. Different times I guess.

I actually heard Girds and Tallis discussing this on MMM. They mentioned that in their early games, the senior players would blast him for being out of position in defence or not getting involved enough. Forced them to get involved and actually built on their confidence.

Different story when it's Reynolds though. The stupid shit contributes to more Bulldogs errors, penalties and inconveniences than anyone, and he sure as hell doesn't seem like the bloke who's earnt the respect of his peers. Plus to do it in such a blatantly public way, rather than pulling him aside, is a different story. He's just a stupid merkin

I don't mind the reaction that much but coming from Reynolds it is a bit silly. He puts his team under pressure as much as any player in the comp.

I love it how Reynolds said "the old me came back" as if his stupidity is something of the past.

If a teammate threw a ball at Reynolds for every one of his blunders, he'd be dead by now.

Anyone actually watch what happened?

It was the 75th minute, we were behind by 4 and a shit pass from Lichaa arguably cost us the game. Don't blame him one bit.

What's he supposed to do? Turn around and apologise for dropping such an awful pass?

Spoken like someone who has never laced a boot on in their life.

I can tell you that plenty of players still get serves from senior players and captains but they are generally in the right place; in the huddle behind the sticks or in the dressing room. No one throws the ball at their team mates, well no one normal anyway.

Josh Reynolds will he stay or will he go? I have the view that him and Moses Mbye games are too similar and one of them needs to go. I know there have been murmurs that Mbye might be moved to hooker, but I think he needs to play wider of the ruck then he can at half-back. I really thought Reynolds paired alot better with Trent Hodkinson playing half-back. If I was Des Hasler I wouldn't rush to sign Reynolds to an extension and have a 'wait and see' approach this year.

"Josh Reynolds has declared he wants to stay at Canterbury amid speculation the NRL club will seek a different direction in their halves.

The five-eighth's manager has begun talks to re-sign with the Bulldogs ahead of his contract running out at the end of the season.

Reynolds, who's played 121 games with the club since debuting in 2011, faces a make-or-break season having put the ball to re-commit in Canterbury's court.

"I'm not going to worry about 'how much this, how much that and how much he's on'," he told Fox Sports.

"I just want to play footy and it'll all sort itself out.

"I'd hate to leave, but it's for them to decide."

Reynolds and halves partner Moses Mbye copped much of the criticism for the side's lacklustre end to last year where they lost four straight matches to exit the title race in the first week of the finals.

He could be forced out with the Bulldogs reportedly considering luring Wests Tigers playmaker Mitchell Moses.

Kieran Foran, who is on a one-year deal with the Warriors, has long been linked to a reunion with coach Des Hasler.

But Reynolds, who has played four matches for NSW, is intent on staying.

"I love it there. It's what I'm about. I feel I fit the culture really well," Reynolds said."
