The most telling thing for me is the complete lack of support he has been getting from ex-players. Pretty much all of them have called him an idiot. And its not just the old guys JT, Locky, etc all said it.

It just is bizarre when you read his story - fears of not playing footy again, not seeing his wife and kids, being disabled etc - all from an accidental eye poke playing footy. Then he goes and intentionally gouges others.
