Thoughts on this announcement the other day?

It's a bit light on details. It states a 3rd charge that occurs in a finals match is now a fine only. What about a 3rd charge in say round 23 that results in a 3 game suspension that runs into the finals? Do they serve their first two matches but not the third?

It's a shit situation when a player gets a week or 2 for foul play but the opposition gets no on field advantage at all during that game.

Back in the day when these things were picked up after the match you live with it but when the bunker sees it a minute later and puts it on report something should be happening on the field. Either don't have the bunker look at it or enforce an on field punishment.

Surely this needs to be reviewed

Trail by media? Yes the unprofessional nature of the media needs to be reviewed.

Kafusi has the ball wrapped in both arms to defend from the strip. The way the 3 of them go to ground the only possible place for Kafusi elbow to end up is on the throat or head of the tackling player. Throat could well have been a season/career ender.

Walkers tackling techniques was appalling the only good result that could have come from it was a stripped ball, otherwise he is getting thrown out of the way or ending up on the bottom of 2 bigger players as they collide with the ground.

Trial by media you say didn't you see the elbow to the face of of walker to me that looked deliberate, If it was Gallen that did it you'll be asking for his head on a silver plater...
