Dannyt, I have said it before and I will say it again. News limited shows to all what it really is, Melbourne get away with what ever they like because there is no repercussions what so ever, their flagship team would be decimated. The Rooster have Uncle Nick a very powerful individual.
And what do we have, nothing, we are not aligned with News, and are Board are weak as piss and so called billionaire owner WIN Corp does what? Do you hear the media say to much not really they might make rumblings that’s it. Do you hear them say that the Dragons players are being treated unfairly, no they never do, that’s the problem. What ever it is we are not like or thought in the same air as the rest.
unfortunately Rugby League is not important to the St George Leagues club or to Win TV who owns the Illawarra side of the equation.
If Dragons snag a top 8 position in the next 10 years it will be more by good luck than good management

For all the success that the Storm have had, they will forever be despised by other supporters for their grubbiness.

Opposition players no longer get revenge on the field like the old days. While most of us probably hate the Dogs, the pack of forwards they had in the 80s or our champions of the 50s and 60s would have torn Asofa, Kafausi and Munster a new one if they tried their BS grubby tactics.

I actually felt sorry for the Roosters as JWH stood up for his teammates and got sin binned and Collins will miss 4 games, yet 2 elbows by Asofa and Munster and a hip drop by Kafausi and all they get is a measly fine and Munster a letter to take home to his parents that he is a naughty boy and if he does it again he will be in detention.
The NRL have put themselves in this position by allowing the grubby tactics.

BTW- I've despised the storm before they become the #1 grub team.

Exactly that - yesteryears teams certainly would had left them buried in the turf . Straight out man versus man , without none of today’s spite nor for that matter the cowardly back lane elbows and forearm whilst the opponent layed unprotected on the ground .

No doubt that in those days , years , it was full on however at least the players done it face to face and would take the refs ire and cop it on the chin and at games end would shake hands .

But today’s so called warriors do everything on the sly and most unfortunately the referees of today simply cannot hold a candle to those of years gone by .

Had a laugh at Graham Annesley coming out and say ‘you need a stronger personal deterrent’” for repeat offenders.

No sh** Graham however, didn't have that problem for the Dragons though. I suppose it's better than saying "sorry".

Perhaps his exact words were:

"You need a stronger personal deterrent for repeat offenders. So I'll talk to Nelson and tell him to stop being a naughty boy, OR ELSE. You don't need a deterrent for first time offenders. Four to six weeks should knock them out of wishing to re-offend."

and Munster who they are now supposedly watching after a warning...
Fed Dinkum they are joke
But we must have a competitive Melbourne each year playing finals even if they get deccimated by injury.
Why.. we dont want Victorians losing interest and membership in NRL.

JWH is almost same level as Nelson. String of fines also. Funny only Nelson identified by Phil Rothfield from memory in his article today or yesterday. No mention JWH. Having said that I wish both in Dragons pack haha.

The excuse he used that it was the Cronulla players fault for not running the same line that he normally does as he had studied him so it was not Billy's fault that he ended up shoulder charging him is just laughable.

Continuing from my last post:
Yet the NRL is now saying the onous is now on the defender to not put themselves in that position. We all know it was just so he could play in the GF as it was his last game before retiring. I think all supporters got their justice when he lost the GF.

No you wouldn't. Those two would be suspended for all games if they played for us.
