I like the 4 1/2 year bit of the deal.

That will make him 32 when it all finishes.

Interesting to see how the stains supporters are loving the jaw in a couple of years ..... that is if he has a few get out clauses in the contract.

Cheers

Dont bet we will get any 'names' from the Storm or any other team. We dont have the money do we . Its called living with in your means and accepting the debt we have and how long it will take to work it off. We must look for young talent and bring them on , which we could end up doing if we are honest with who we talk to. And honest with them once they get here.

you must not think too highly of your team if thats the case greg, considering we almost beat your team last week.

Nailing Noddy:
The final nail seems to have been hammered into Brett Kimmorley's time at Canterbury-Bankstown. Just a week after the Bulldogs secured the signature of Trent Hodkinson they have now secured Kris Keating's services for 2010. With Ben Barba finally finding a starting spot at five-eighth, Canterbury seems to have all bases covered when it comes to their halves options. Only weeks ago Kimmorley was wearing a New South Wales jersey and claiming he had a couple of good years left in him; if that's the case it appears it will most likely be with another club.
What does the future hold for Brett Kimmorley, does he still have something to offer a club in the NRL? Email your thoughts.
LATEST COMMENTS FROM FANS:
Jason from Bargara, QLD says: Coolum Sharkie seems harsh. Kimmorley was no loser in Melbourne's premiership in the late 90s, or the on field success of the Hunter Mariners through to Canterbury last year. All careers come to an end. Don't judge him on 2010.

Glen says: I am a general Rugby League fan – I was wondering with the Bulldogs signing the number of players they have over the last couple of years are they “cooking the books”. Good luck to them if they can fit all the players under the cap but maybe they need to buy some that will play as a team. Lots of purchases not much results.

Coolum Sharkie says: Dear Sir, I keep hearing that the new Sharkies coach is desperate to have an experienced player in the halves for 2011 and that with Barrett likely to retire at the end of 2010, there are not a whole lot of options available. I also hear that a certain former Sharks half still has a house in the Shire. With Stuart gone, there is nothing to stop the return of the Gnome to the Greatest Losers in the history of Rugby League. Keep up the good work

Is that you Coolum?

He has one saying he can leave the Dragons if the Allawah 4 are not inducted into the The Merged Illawarra Stain George Wanker Troll Team of the Decade

Cronk would be a welcome addition to any team but he wouldn't be working many miracles initially.

Firstly he has to fit in.

Secondly one needs to look at the team structure he plays in now which helps him be successful. Most notably he plays in a team with a 4 prop rotation. Real props. Cronk plays behind a rolling forward pack and to have that those 2 quality bench props are needed. The Sharks don't have that and at the moment tend to lose momentum when LD and KS are off the field.

Therefore, The Sharks need one more quality prop at least.

Not to mention he plays in a team with the best fullback, centre and hooker. He won't have any of those things at the Sharks.

I think the other 3 are far better players than Cronk.

i agree mate. Cronk is good, but nothing beats the skill of Slater, the creativeness of Smith and the absolute sheer brilliance of Inglis. Is that Matt Duffie dude off contract?? Wouldn't mind him at the Sharks, put him on the wing and give Ike a go in the centres.

hahahhahahahahaha ...

"Abdul Quigs says: Greetings Oh Wise One, I Abdul wish for Mr. Noddy to come home to Cronulla for he is a man who gave all of us "uncool" people hope that despite our shortcomings we could still aspire to greatness and play at the highest level. He always gives 110% and is very skilful when the ball is in his hands and creates great opportunities for our backline which is crying out for his guidance and strength. He is wasted with those ungrateful wretches at the bulldogs and needs to come home to the Shire where he is loved by all."
