What he wrote didn’t sound like a guess to me and the idea makes sense.do you have any proof of this, or just taking a wild guess like the other 95% of posts on this forum lol

Interesting considering the recently announced relationship between the Boston Bears and North Sydney. The new franchise could have a pathway system from the USA right through to PerthMakes sense considering NRL hasn't spoken to Cummins. Bears will run & operate Perth team.
You included or are you special? He's just making shit up like everyone else.
You can see the survey topic if you have an account with the pollster.do you have any proof of this, or just taking a wild guess like the other 95% of posts on this forum lol
Maximus said it doesn’t exist so that’s it really. You can see the survey topic if you have an account with the pollster.
How was it worded mate? You can see the survey topic if you have an account with the pollster.
It was months ago but every poll has a unique reference code and their survey area codes. It literally just said rugby league support with no summary and the Perth survey area codes. How was it worded mate?
Cheers. I think if they surveyed Perth league fans that western reds would be more popular than Perth bears. It was months ago but every poll has a unique reference code and their survey area codes. It literally just said rugby league support with no summary and the Perth survey area codes.
There's really not a long list of organisation with a vested interest in paying for a private survey about rugby league in Perth. It was either NRL WA (which I doubt because of the cost), an expansion club or the NRL (most likely).
If a bear shits in the woods.....PNG Shit Bears?
If no one in Perth knows who the bears are then is not real a strong brand is it.Perth Bears- Actually Perth locals wouldn’t know who the Bears are, other than they now have a team and they're called the Bears.. being an AFL state will be understanding of relocations and how they work... so the Bears brand would be very marginal at best as negative.
The positives:
Instant direct feeder club and all associated coaches trainers ect.
All infrastructure in directors, accounting and administration are already in place.
TV ratings, as Perth ratings will be negligible..it will be a massive advantage to have interested Sydney locals keen to tune in. Outside of a Bears franchise a WA team would be a ratings disaster for decades.
It works and if PR doesn't support them, it shows he's not an actual fan of the game.
Swans and lions were non existent brands in Sydney and Brisbane but they brought a legacy and a fan base for games back in Melbourne. It would be a stretch to suggest the Bears will have a similar impact as they’ve been out of the top flight for too long.If no one in Perth knows who the bears are then is not real a strong brand is it.
Sydney fans in general won't cross town for a non home game semi. But apparently Bears fans (men over the age of 50) are going to travel to Penrith, Cronulla, Campbelltown, boosting crowds in syndey.Swans and lions were non existent brands in Sydney and Brisbane but they brought a legacy and a fan base for games back in Melbourne. People from Mosman, Cremorne, Cammeray and the like are renowned for their love of travelling to places like Penrith and Campbelltown.Sydney fans in general won't cross town for a non home game semi.
