Are u Kidding PB??? there's a massive difference, like maybe we come out 120K in front!!....however I will say that Willie is about 3 to 4 years younger than Junior!!

GP: It's definetly big Mal. not Lipina "Jackson" "I've got a headache can I come off" Kafausi

Both weigh in between 95kg & 100kgs,
both around 6ft tall.
both were supposed to be "the next big thing"
Both have problems defensively
both have some attacking flair
both will never be more than fill in first graders
Langi is only about 22, so not much age difference either

And Willie wouldnt have got much at the cash strapped Bulldogs, so i can't imagine he was on a giant wad of cash at parra.

Hi
Im a Storm fan and am very diisapointed that Langi has left us
If he can overcome his injuries he will be a great player for the eels.

Cheers Simo,

Langi looked like a good player, scoring a try for the Storm in the game against us. Maybe he just felt like a change of scene would improve his luck?

All the best for '04.

Gee,I think you guys are a bit overly optimistic, which I guess you have to be at the start of the year.

Im always the other way,a little pessimistic at the start.I like to see the guys play before I start predicting they will star.

On Langi,I always thought he was dead ordinary,I havent seen much from him to suggest he will play let alone star.Smith certainly has gone bargain shopping this year.

Fair enough. But we're a bit short of centres should Jamie or Vaealiki get injured, or play rep games? Ash Graham is coming back from injury, so the likes of Langi could step up from first division and do the job for us in the centres if needed. I hope...

realistically Simon!! we probably won't be seeing much of Junior this year as he was only signed about a month ago and will be used as a stopgap!! player.

Like our mate Mal, Junior has a number of challenges for those for those 2 spots in the centres [As Mal has as a frontrower] and would have to depend on a relatively large injury toll to get a game.[ He may even earn a spot who knows??] He not only has to contend with our two internationals but I would think that Graham and Burt would get the upper hand and failing that there's also Wise Kata and Grothe who have both played in the centres in firstgrade.

Im not sure who your fullback is for 2004 season, but Langi also played
a half dozen games for us there a while back and he was really good
at fullback.

I'd think Wade might be a bit down the list

Burt, Lex, Ash will definatly be in front of him

THen Muzz, Langi and McKinnon are on the next tier.

That's why I said unfortuantely. I don't rate McKinnon one bit, signs with Souths and his form drops for us. Supposed to be the next big thing in Redfern, and couldn't even cement a first grade spot there.

Junior Langi is a good quality outside back, he only played 2 games last yr cause he was inj. inj himself in those games and also inj himself in a warm up one game and missed that one. could of played at the end of the season but fell out of favour wit bellemy when he went wit dustin cooper and matt king. i dont know which Kaufusi u guys got but we had the 3rd one Antonio and he is a big 2nd rower so u might have him and he's only 19 or 20.
