Junior to come good?

Alot of the time it is the unexpected rookie that stands up, depending on what you class a rookie thou.

I think O'Hanlon may unseed Horo, Smith, shakelton or Matuia if given the chance and may play a few matches off the bench next year (IMO will eventually take the coverted 11 when Hindy retires).

Filinga is a dark horse for mine and may even start the season with Reddys injury.

Sio and Loko if given the chance may keep burt, reddy or grothe back to wenty.

But if we are picking a player to play the whole season and stand up then it will have to be Humble and Mitchell. Both recieved some experiance this year and by the end of 2011 we may see these two in the 6 and 9.

it is actually Filiga you know you keep calling him Filinga

Sio, O'Hanlon and Brien.....

Loko has to establish himself in the NYC against strong teams before he can handle first grade. His form in the Arrive Alive Cup or whatever it is now just highlighted how well a young man can play against boys. 2012 will be his year, about half way through.

Ok i know i did this last year.Junior to come thru-I dont recall anyone picking HORO - lol- Id like to find that old thread......
So this time round lets go -Whos is going to break thru to first grade and make an impact???

Not that thread, but....

2010 season preview said:
Rookie to Watch; Justin Horo
While most of the talk from Parramatta fans centres on the wonderfully talented Anthony Mitchell, it may well be backrower Horo who has the best chance to impress in 2010. The Eels are relatively weak in backrow depth, and Horo looks likely to be next cab off the rank. Big but mobile, hard working but skillful, Horo starred in Wentworthvilles successful 2008 campaign before an ankle injury interrupted his 2009 season and he will be looking to make up for lost time.

I might have mispicked a few things...but I'm proud of that one :p

This year, I think Taniela Lasalo might well be the one to come good. He's had a few years around the top side now and has moved full time into the back row, with some success in first grade. Mitchell will continue to develop and I have a good feeling about Brad Murray, although not sure it will be for next year. Loko, Sio are a way off IMO

The good thing is that we have a lot of very talented juniors that could each step up individually.

My tip is Anthony Mitchell, in the way that he will play first-grade more regularly.

Yeah, I've heard off the Colonel that Toby Keys is an extremely good buy for us. Can't wait to see how he goes next year :)

It is amazingly hard to nail someone that is not in motion:lol: (from my experience) - so that would have to be a fair effort.

Toby Keys..

this kid is supposed to be the sh*t.

he's a backrower I believe..

apparently the guy played in the Aboriginal tournamont and absolutely nailed George Rose in a tackle.

I don't want to talk the kid up too much but there were a number of clubs interested in him. Toby is a Moree boy but spent the past two years at Farrer Ag. He was part of the Lloyd McDermott squad that finished runner up in the Undr 18's Union Sevens comp to a much more professional side to. As for the hit on George Rose, while I haven't seen it it was a very popular topic of conversation wih many locals. He is a big boy and can play front and backrow. Very mobile......

Ryan Morgan is now in the top squad.

Is he a chance of making his Nrl debut this year?
