I could never work out the second part of the name of the ovals....

Seymour Shore Oval Miranda... (is it still there) The shore thing had me puzzled.

But the jigsaw pieces are falling into place a bit like old Nostra -the- darmess.

See - Seymour signs with the Sharkies....thats the Seymour bit - and the Shore bit - has to do with Global Warming... eventually Syvania Waters will lap up against the north eastern fence of the playing grounds .... hence the 'shore' thing.

Just checked Google Earth I think the oval is still there...

The truth is out there...

from all reports it was a 2 horse race between us and the tigers. the tigers offically pulled out about 4-5days ago which means there is a possibiliy of a dark horse in this race that we dont know about.

or it means a young player like seymour is considering retirement before he will wear a sharks jersey

The Sharks sign on was a hell of a lot more granted, but when young Sey was sat down by the Canaries Management and was told that he would be on winning bonuses and the fact that the Sharks winning bonuses for 07 would amount to bugger all - like you have got to win games to be eligible for winning bonuses... well the Canaries deal worked out that he would have the distinct possibility of earning $228.42 more then playing with us.

It boilded down to basic maffs and a basic common sense.

But I did hear that the point that really swayed the young sey in joining the Canaries was the fact they had a side that had a coach. Think about it - How could we possibly match that.
