if Lomax proves to be a fg fullback I would love to see Cameron McInnes sorry for spelling been given a go at lock hunt at hooker field at five eight and Norman at halfback.
Strengths
Norman loves to control the game
Mccinnes tackling machine
Field explosive and unpredictable
Hunt strong running game
I just feel Lawrie is a front rower and mccinnes would prob be the best lock at our club atm and field us showed the right attitude

Hunt would get killed trying to tackle in the middle.

I'd say;
Robson at hooker
McInnes at lock
Hunt at 7
Norman at 6

Hunt and Norman will fire if Robson is at hooker and our props and edge forwards dominate the opposition.

In the backs we need to see how Lomax and Pearson go this week If they go well then what we are looking for is two centres with good speed and good defence.

Not gonna lie I don’t mind Lafai when his on his really on our other centre needs looking at and Ben hunt is good in defence in the middle I think with blokes like Vaughan graham and mccinnes he could handle it quite well

Now that Robson is leaving next year he might not get a run in our first grade. It has happened with other clubs, payback in a way

My random thoughts:
  • Are leaf blowers just a wanky way of saying “not my problem”?
  • What would toast pigeon taste like?
  • Do blind people see pictures when they dream?
  • Actually how old is this planet?
  • What would happen if everyone in the world farted at the same time?
  • Is maroon a shade of red or a shade of purple?
  • Why can’t you lick your own elbow?
  • Would life have been happier if I’d started supporting the storm when I moved to Melbourne?
  • Who was the first person to ever invent bread?
  • How many people reading this have just tried number 7 on the list?

I agree that would be our strongest spine it would also free up McInnes to run support off our front row, something we lack. As for Hunt at 9 Well Origin will be the final judge on his ability to hold his own there but in saying that some good judges say he is a 9 no less than boxhead Walters for one and for mine if he says someone is a natural 9 then he is a natural 9 and he has been advising his brother of the same.

Just watching the knights v chooks the knights giving them a touch up and vossy drops a beauty as Pearce puts it down under the posts. “Ohhh He’s come to get some Henny Penny “. Hollers Vossy.
I like Vossy, doesn't take himself too seriously, has great knowledge of League history, is a good caller and best of all can't stand bully boy Hadley !

Two things stand out about the Knights at the moment.
1. The passion with which they play. Evident in the way they celebrate tries and the way they are defending. Easts didn't know what hit them last night..
2. Brown's selections and use of the bench.# forwards and Connor Watson.
Never lost momentum and intensity with major impact on the result of the game.
They look a well drilled side with a genuine leader who are starting to gain momentum.
Compare that to St.George…
Where are the Brown knockers now?

And the Knights supporters must be the most loyal in the NRL. They turned up, purchased membership even back to spoons and years in the wilderness.
Good on em ..

Successful? Yes.

Happier? No.

All things considered I'm pretty happy being a Saints fan - wouldn't have it any other way.

Times are tough at the moment, but Kogarah's there. Wollongong's there. The Taj is there. The Red V is there. Our history is there. All the great players who have ever played for our Club(s) are there. The fans are there.

The shit times make the good times even better.

That 31-year drought-breaking Premiership in 2010 was a humdinger.

We'll win again.
