Handling errors in the first 15 would rival Masons metres. :| The rest of the game was a cracker!

bulldog forwards had plenty of purpose- in fact the whole team looked a lot sharper!

O'Meley may have not made a huge amount of metres, but it took a lot of Roosters' energy to stop him.

He made 167 ... an average of about 7 metres a hit up, and he still made the 2nd highest amount of metres in the game. He was definately dominated early in the match though...to be fair he was running into the Roosters hard men more than anyone else, and they seemed to target him specifically with four in on most occasions.

I know the radio gave him a rap but I was a touch disappointed with Sherwin.
IMO Finch outplayed him. He was more composed than Sherwin who forced a few passes. One was that far forward I couldnt believe it wasnt pulled up.
Mason was outstanding as was Ryan. Perry (who I did my cash on for the Churchill Medal) was solid up the ruck. When he got replaced (by Hughes I think) the Dogs opened up a bit.
The best side won but gee Rooster fans must be cursing Walker's side of defence.

I thought Minichello played very well last night, didnt stop trying the whole time. Him, Fittler, Fitzy, Morley and Flannery were the best for the Roosters last night(in no particular order). I agre with foz, i thought Sherwin was slightly dissapointing.
