...For letting Brett Hodgson go.

You can say what you want about him getting hammered, getting injured rah rah, but for the first time, the Tigers have a fullback who is an absolute class act.

Sure, he gets touched up in nearly every game, and again last night he copped his fair share of big hits.

But there is no doubt that on his day he is one of the best fullbacks running around.

So thanks!

Got a couple of wingers you can take off our hands if you want them. Also a forward and a wannabe 5/8th as well as a coach and a CEO. ;-)

LOL.

Dont worry, we have a wannabe five-eighth too. Once he is moved back to his natural position, we will look much much better.

Which players are you talking about?

Katerivata, Peterson and Wagon?

No thanks, keep them! (which im sure Smith will do)

We have 10 players (including a City-Country fullback, a Fijian winger, an international centre, a Kiwi fullback, a former Qld 5/8, a washed up Tigers prop, a pathetic former NSW and Australia number 10, a second row pairing which has good games but when required cannot stand up and be counted, and a lock who hardly got any ball last night).

And please - now is not the time to make such comments. It is really giving me the shits having Bullscum and Tigers supporters coming on here and enjoying every minutes of what they have to say.

Brian Smith. BTW - you want to see people with heart? I would GLADLY play for you. I am bigger than Cannings and I would make a better efort too. I love the team too much. I am sure my dog could of done better.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you for trading Heckenburg for the Lazy Arse Cannings !!

I'm not fussed about that.

Whilst Cannings dropped ball, he was our best attacker all night, alongside Dykes.

He can imrpove his ball handling, but some players from last night should be sacked.

SOS: CHRIS ARMIT

I am not joking you want a fearless forward who gets the job done. Chris Armit.
Get the old fart wannabes out. I guess someone forgot to point out that gigantic old men = slow and lethargic with minimal attacking options not just physically intimidating.

I have absolutely no dount that Hodgson is a gun and will be missed by Parra(if he stays fit of course). He was everywhere yesterday, and once he learns where to position himself he will be scroing plenty of tries.

Thanks again Parra.

Trouble is Hodgson is too small he is a useless last line of defence, a speedbump at best. I for one won't miss him and the fact that he took the bag of cash wests tigers dangled at him. The guy had no loyalty to Parra and it infuriates me after all we gave to him.

Don't worry, when Hodgo goes down with injury this year we get to go back to their forum and rub it in their faces.

He's wests junior. It was his western suburbs loyalty that brought him back. He's ours, not yours.

Give it to us all you like. The fact is, we signed decent players, while your club signed a bunch of reserve grade no hopers.

If you can be happy with that, then you obviously have very low standards.

I seriously dont know how anyone can say that Parra wont miss Hodgson.

Give Hodgson all the wraps you want, did you see him play last year? He was stale, he did nothing in attack or support play, even less in defense. Parra/Newcastle at Newcastle last year, I think it was his last game for us, and it was one of the worst 40 minutes I've seen a fullback play.

If you want to analyse a throwaway line aimed at all the Tigers fans coming here and giving us crap after a big loss to mean 'I'm not happy we lost some players that turned out decent at other clubs and signed players who didn't perform in one match' go ahead.

Fact is, I don't know many Parra fans who were sorry to see Hodgo go, and the ones that were sorry didn't see much of how we played in 2003. He was expendable, and I'm quite happy to see him go well somewhere else, despite how badly he played for us last year, I still like him as a player.

I didnt see him play much last year, but he has played two games for us and hasnt made one mistake, despite being hammered in both games.

He has looked brilliant so far and despite what many Parra fans think, he is a brilliant signing.

Good luck with him hybrid, I hope he goes well because he's a top bloke and still has plenty of talent. If he can stay injury free he'll be fantastic for the Tigers this year.

The reason we won't miss him is that he would never have returned to form under our current coach because he had fallen out of favour with him and his confidence was way down. The same thing happened with Clinton Shifcofske a few years back and now look at him. Confidence plays a HUGE part in the way a player performs on the park. He needed a change of clubs and a fresh start which is exactly what he has now.
