Ian Millward has said that he does not expect anyone to run the ball back harder than Carney in super league i think he is right on that one but just needs to get up to pace when Rangi Chase kicks through looked like he was running in glue yesterday(but it did cut up a bit with all the rain)all in all another steady performance from him.

Not meaning to have a dig at Cas1 but he is overhyping Carney massively. I have seen him live for the last 2 weeks now and he looks average at best. He gets caught out ball watching in the defensive line, looks to have lead for hands and isn't even that quick. He is strong though and the one free run he got the last 2 weeks he put his head down and went for it. Brett Kearney got the better of him though in the collision almost sending him into touch. There are a few good wingers over here who will have a field day against him with the cross field kick.

ESL is way behind the NRL but carney is definitely not being made up to be a superstar by anyone but the Tigers faithful and let's face it, they probably won't even make the 8 this year.

Never once have i said he is a world beater but in the five games i have seen him play in he gives 100%,and i did not think i was trading insults but then again its not me calling names.
