Obviously Brian McLennan's impassioned kiwi spirit has died. No longer doing it for the black and white jersey. More like the blue and yellow one these days. If he doesn't allow Webb to play if he is selected by Kearney, that will justify all my previous posts about Bluey being all about himself. Walk the talk Bluey!

Well i know for a fact that liam is definately playing for kiwis, cause he was selected by jr kangaroos and jr kiwis, and he chose jr kiwis, but his brother is different.

Following in big footsteps

Kieran's family first moved to Sydney from Auckland when he was seven years old.
And while he has always been a New Zealand Warriors fan, he said he has pledged his allegiance to Australia.
"There was never a question about who I was going to play for - I go to school in Australia and that's who I'm going to play for," Kieran said.

he should play for kiwis, better chance of being successful unless hes the next johns, wierd seeing two brothers line up against eachother. anyone know if this guys good or not.

Isn't that just playing for Aus Schoolboys? Lots of Kwis have played for them, including Foran's brother, both Cayless boys, Richard swain, etc. A couple of years ago there were half a dozen NZers in the Aus Schoolboys team. That team is about where you go to school, not your nationality.

I hope your right, i saw him play today and he's not that bad
But i think he is pledging is allegiance to australia (at all levels) because he goes to school in australia.

I would be really disappointed if that was the case. Seriously disheartened. The rumour I've heard around though is Webbys the one that's decided he no longer needs this rep aspect of his career. I have no idea if it's true of course, and whether repping for the Kiwis was just convenient when he was here, or whether he's opted not to play because of the treatment of Bluey should you believe that side rather than the NZRL one (Me personally after seeing the Clowns in full flight last year at the NZRL are more inclined to think along those lines. Guess we'll never know for certain really. Does show how much of a joke these residency rules are. Loyalty doesn't count for much in the end.
Sorry, that was a negative slant on what is a positive topic overall!
