Forget it. The horse has bolted. No Kangaroos, No Origin..
Why would Mal pick someone who doesn't want to be there ?

It's like when he was whinging that the Pacific Islanders wanted to play for thier heritage countries, why would he want To'o, Crichton ... etc if they don't want it.

Errr you realise Ponga doesn’t actually want to play right? He’s been threatened by the NRL with having to stand down from club games.

The whole thing is ridiculous. Why aren’t we treating players that step down from the smaller nations like this? Oh right, because they don’t matter apparently.

Yeo new Kangaroos captain. 8 debutants. Some surprising omissions. Not necessarily on form, just because most of us thought Mal would stand firm on certain players eg Tedesco.

I think Teddy gets picked if Edwards had surgery like he should.

So Ponga must have been told to publicly make himself available, but they would not select him (to avoid any dramas)

So I never really understood the selection of Moses as Kangaroos half. He was obviously underdone in the game against Tonga, as you‘d expect since he hadn’t played since Origin and he missed games for Parra prior to that.
And now the Kangaroos are faced with the option of Ben Hunt in the halves.
I would’ve stuck with DCE for the Pacific Championships and transition to Moses or another form half next year.

No 7 who loses 30-0 should ever be picked again

Shortage of half backs these days
That's why
