Kapow - sandow

He looked fitter and was dangerous almost every time he touched the ball.

Just one game though.
Don't forget Sandow has had good games before. It was having them regularly that he had trouble with.
Hope he keeps it up.

Love the way BA has taken the pressure off and eased him back. No doubt hell have a few whinges about him in the presser as well..

Would have been excused for having a go at Hodges after the match.

Went to shake Hodges hand and was ignored.

Arthur's opinion on sandow from tonight was he was good, improved from last week but still has areas he needs to improve on. Then he gave credit to the middle forwards for giving sandow the platform for his performance.

I though he had a solid game but his kicking game was mind boggling at times. Definitely provides a spark but it questionable whether he is over playing his hand especially on last play options. I thought hayne, Norman and peats all had better games tbh.

Sandow is a livewire, like a Denis Moran or a Pj Marsh. I love watching him play!

I agree.
While he had a good overall game, he still has a lot of improving to do.
Especially with some of his kicks. I'm not sure he was positioning himself correctly when kicking for distance. Seemed to give himself no time to get the right kick away.

His decision to chip for himself in our first set was pretty dumb.

But I thought he defended ok and his running and passing game was fine.
Good field goal too.

Good game - not Man Of The Match though.

What, because he's short and black?

Moran only had a short kicking game. Sandow has a dynamite long kicking game. Moran was a decent defender too.

He made a few mistakes but he was Also Kapow quite a bit as well tonight.

How good was his tackle on Fatty Hannat?? That was right in front of me it was fantastic.

His field goal was also a ripper.

The tackle on Hannant and then the follow up on Glenn. His defence is still not fantastic but he held his own particularly one on one where they tried to isolate him. Great work from the coaching staff.

best game I've ever seen him play and the most surprising thing for me was his defence

still cant kick more than 30 metres and finds the fullback most times but if that is the best he can do I'll take it

I told you all his defence had improved massively this year.

He is playing fantastic footy, I like how he ran the ball a bit last night. The mix up in his game is going to keep defenders guessing.
