Sandow's game has lifted since the forwards are actually being forwards. An off the cuff guy like Sandow really struggled without a solid pack. his confidence is up and defence has improved out of sight.

Apart from Sandow, Tim Mannah is really hitting up the last few games. I'd love to see him develop and offload. He'd be terrifying.

Agree, the forwards have really lifted and their job is much easier when Sandow is playing well. Takes the pressure of them.

I think it's time for a re-structure. They do it at my work continuously. For the last ten years we've been in a constant state of re-structure. (Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.)

You're still there, so it can't be going that good.

Can't wait to see Sterlo talk about Sandow on the footy show this am. It was a bit awkward last week and I think Sandow is getting better.

I admit to agreeing with his article but it's so good to see any journo eat some humble pie about parra.

Apart from that missed tackle he played fairly well. Set up Sio's second and should have set up another with that chip. And he just generally creates some spark and uncertainty with ball in hand.

We are incapable of winning the ruck against a team like the Roosters which doesn't help his kicking game

Hayne and Sandow have obviously put some work in at training for the chip kick play. We tried it twice last night and netted a penalty and very nearly the match-sealer from the two attempts.

It is a nice ace to have up the sleeve providing we keep executing it as well as we did last night.

What's to say? He had a shocker last night, but he's been good previous weeks.

Youre a harsh critic. Last night was far from a shocker. Yes he missed the tackle on Toupou (and then so did 3 others after that), but otherwise he tackled pretty well. Had some average kicks (often has very little room to clear on the 5th) but passing game was very good, and had Terepo not dropped the damn ball he would have provided the match sealing try with his perfect chip to Hayne.

I think the outlawing of the shoulder charge has been a god-send for Sandow's defence. Thankyou NRL, for once.

I thought Hayne should of gone himself, he was all but there. Was he on side, they would of checked it if we scored? Sandow had one bad miss.

Yeah I thought Hayne should have gone himself. Maybe he thought he'd look like a ball hog if it didn't come off.

My coach used to say that a good sign of a happy squad is when players want to hand their mates tries on a platter.

Jarryd probably could have scored himself, but maybe he wanted to help his mate - a forward who hardly scores tries - get across the line because they're happy.

Made a bad ca, though .

Just watched the game again and Hayne was about a metre off side. If we had scored, than most likely the roosters would have had a penalty around the half way line.

Stupidly Peni dropping the ball was probably the best outcome for us

Edit: Oops beat me to it strider

Other than that missed tackle he played pretty well.couple of good kicks , couple of poor ones. Helped set up 2 of the 3 tries and almost set up a 3rd. It was a bad miss on toupou by sandow. But he shouldn't be having to making one on one tackles 80m from our line.the edge forward and center need to help him out.

Happy for sandow. He is really having a dig in defense.

Having said that, if BA was always planning bringing sandow into grade after a stint in Reggie's, then it's been a master stroke.

they would have gone to video and taken that off us anyway - jarryd was a step offside

At the game i thought he was well off side, so yes, we actually got the better result :D
