My unbridled support of the fella didnt start after 156 minutes of NRL. It started at the beginning of the 2015 Q Cup.
I couldnt believe the best player in that competition, chose us. For whatever reason, Parcell was the msot chased,( probably helped by a 5 try semi final performance the week before the GF.)& the clubs didnt chase Capewell as hard. Either way, he chose the Sharks & I was watching to see if his game translates to NRL level.
it does & he is a genuine star performer.

He certainly has talent and a bit of size and has handled himself extremely well in his stints in first grade

I watched a fair bit of KC in the Q-Cup too and also Cleeland. I honestly thought Josh Cleeland would kick on more/before KC.

The games I saw him (JC that is, not KC) play he was in everything and tackled anything that moved. A great little organiser too.

I have KC streets ahead of Beale because of his utility factor. If we suffer an early injury or head-knock Taga wont be able to cover those minutes. Need 4 forwards on the bench against that pack imo.

If we had 2015 Beale creating saloon passage for Humphrey to fall over the try line, then I,'d side with Beale. But we don't All I see is a player visibly down on confidence.

I too watch Q Cup and we got the best two, now lost one, but behind Maloney.
