Rogers is the most puzzling continued selection. And Webb is injured hence his non-selection. If I was coach I wouldn't pick him if he was fit though. Taking off Hindmarsh is also a strange decision. Replacing Hindy with Rogers is something SK must be held accountable for.

If you haven't noticed, Kearney barely uses him - he's just there in case McGuire needs a rest. Rogers came on for Hindy tonight for one of two reasons:

1. Hindy was injured or buggered.

2. Some token minutes when it looked like the game was won.

Considering Hindy didn't go back on when we needed him I'd say he was f**ked for whatever reason. Either that or we'd used all our interchanges.

But don't worry - Rogers will go back to Wenty when Keating's available. Probably next week.

Pretty sure that Brian Smith took Raper & Smith (possibly another of our most experienced players as well.) off in the Grand Final qualifier against the Dogs in 98. If i'm correct, which i'm pretty sure i am, then that was a way way bigger mistake.

Yeah but we're only talking about games involving coaches signed by the current Eels board.

So 1998 doesn't count. Sorry.
