No mate. I have lost all confidence in when it will happen but I am sure it will eventually happen. Think about it for a minute, will they go into season 2013 with the spoon and the same groundhog day coach before the board elections? Not a chance. They are useless but not stupid.

The football club elections are in December. Now most will say that it isn't important as they only control the lower grades, however the rules state that at least 3 football club board members are appointed to the Leagues board who control the NRL team.

Maybe the tactic is:
a. make Kearney wear the wooden spoon himself (after just having escaped the last one at the death)
b. send Kearney packing in September, saying the Board offered him every support
c. announce a new coach in October for the next 2 years - someone at least with recognised experience
d. campaign for FC re-election on the back of this "decisiveness" through November/December

Well apparently they put some pretty slick escalators in the Leagues Club. I wouldn't know though, they could turn the whole thing into an amusement park and I still wouldn't give a s**t.

I suspect they'd at least be kind enough to let Kearney have a crack at his out of form former club at our home ground... it would be cruel to the guy otherwise.

He'll probably smile and spend the entire press conference gloating about how good a team Melbourne are like he did when we played them last year. He probably cares about the Storm more than he does about the Eels.
