Keating and failure to find touch

Although he played well in the second half I don't understand why Keating is taking the touch finders when we are awarded penalties. His failure to find touch in the first half from a penalty was pretty ordinary. Surely, Hayne should be taking the kicks.

Hayne missed touch too last week as did mortimer. i dont think a season goes by where we dont find touch from a penalty. And i dont know how merrit's wasnt called for a knock on.

then get him to practice. he has the biggest foot, just seperate him from the others at training, and get him to kick kick kick! the extra 10,20 metres hayne could get of the touch finder is worth it.

Actually - I think Hayne missed finding touch twice last week so pretty silly reasoning.

I thought the first kick was mortimer's fault and then when the game was all but over Hayne tried to punt it 50 odd metres (as he had done earlier) and just missed out?

Yeah the first one was mortimer, he tried to get us on a roll and get us going and he rushed the kick.

I've got no real problem with the line finder that Hayne missed late in the game against Canberra. At least he was trying to do something ... it was worth a risk at that point in the game, where nothing short of a miracle would do.

Keating's wasn't dissimilar except he doesn't have Hayne's boot in the first place. Hayne would have kicked that distance without risk, I reckon.

Hayne should always kick for touch. Period.

While we are at it Hayne should take 2-3 hitups a set (cause the forwards are struggling), play dummy half (cause we haven't got one at the moment), kick in general play and be a play maker (because our halves can't) all whilst playing full back. While he is at it surely he can make 2-3 of the kick return runs a set (to give poor Grothe and Burty a rest).

I know that Hayne is paid the big bucks but if your halves and dummy half cant be relied upon to do the simple things that their positions dictate that they do how can we consider ourselves in the premiership hunt. Oh by the way if we can get DA to take a pay out and move Caylo to the bench then Hayne can be coach captain as well.

Exactly. How on earth did the clown's miss that???

Suity

when I saw some of the replay on fox last night, the nine commentators didnt even pick it up. I thought it was an obvious knock on.

Couldn't believe we didn't find touch again, them mistakes are just criminal. Hayne has the best boot in the team and should be taking the kicks for line.
