well sterlo said KK has a little knee problem but does not seem to be much concern there

As far as his actual performance was concerned, he debuted very, very well. A few dropped balls early but he persisted in attacking the line and reaped the rewards.

And all of this is considering the fact that Farah starved him and Trent of the ball for the entire game.

The other eels all played solidly, particularly Burty and Tim who both, in the unlikely event, would not dishonour the sky blue jersey.

Tahu is progressing at a rapid rate and would probably be the front runner to partner Lyons in the centres.

All in all a great game, who says that City-v-Country is a useless fixture!

KK seemed to play 80 minutes and very well too, so it can't be too bad

Everyones favourite paper has a short line about keating, none of which was good...:?

City lock Luke O'Donnell was helped from the field in the 67th minute with a knee injury, while Kris Keating also suffered medial ligament damage and could be out for anywhere from three to eight weeks.

Agree 100%
Farah played himself out of the sky blue jersey IMO.
I also think Mannah was the best prop on the park but I think he is to inexperianced for origin. I would not pick White because he was MIA and I think Poore has a good chance because most of the props also went missing (Galloway the best IMO).
Tahu made a few miss reads in defence but I think he will play left centre (Lyon on the right) as he out played the other centres and Jennings was very good on the wing and will only have Dugan to contend with and that should push Hayne into the #1

3-6 weeks out for KK

hopefully only 3 - back for the dragons game. We can handle manly and the sharks without him!

I reckon it will be more like Oake on the bench , MK to hooker, Robbo to halves.

Hoping humble or Mitchell get a run though.

honestly guys, there's no pint bitching and moaning about it, we have to expect this sort of thing to happen and if we're going to go far in this comp than we're going to need to learn to cover it well, there is no way in gods earth that we would win this comp by using the same 17 all year.

Twizz I think DA will go with Anthony Mitchell, he's easily our most creative player in that grade and will be very handy to bring on in about 60th minute.

It's times like this when you need to blood a kid to give him a taste of NRL. Teams like the Broncos did it for decades under Bennett, yet we seem to shuffle the deck chairs and stick with a experienced (but at times very average) option.

Agree that it's time to reward Ant Mitchell with a stint. Humble would benefit also it might be a tad early for him.

I think robbo and mk are working in the make up of the team so I'd give humble a run if it doesn't work u still have robbo and mateo to fill the role througout the game.
