City lock Luke O'Donnell was helped from the field in the 67th minute with a knee injury, while Kris Keating also suffered medial ligament damage and could be out for anywhere from three to eight weeks.
As far as his actual performance was concerned, he debuted very, very well. A few dropped balls early but he persisted in attacking the line and reaped the rewards.
And all of this is considering the fact that Farah starved him and Trent of the ball for the entire game.
The other eels all played solidly, particularly Burty and Tim who both, in the unlikely event, would not dishonour the sky blue jersey.
Tahu is progressing at a rapid rate and would probably be the front runner to partner Lyons in the centres.
All in all a great game, who says that City-v-Country is a useless fixture!

The news is not as good for City five-eighth Kris Keating, who will have scans on both a knee and an ankle.
City doctor David Givney said the Parramatta playmaker had woken up sore after suffering at least a medial ligament strain in the knee, but also a badly swollen ankle.
The knee injury means Keating is looking at a minimum 3-4 weeks on the sidelines.
