Kenny wants to be halves coach

I know he says some silly things, and he can be an unpleasant man to deal with sometimes (although he's been nothing but a gentleman when I have spoken to him), but I'd love to welcome back Kenny and Guru. LEGENDS of the game, not just Parra.

And even though his lack of money is his fault, it still broke my heart to see one of our greatest ever in that position. So if we can help him out, why not? I'd rather have NSW, Australia and PARRAMATTA legend Brett Kenny coach our halves than Andrew Johns, who IMO isn't fit to lace his boots.

Kenny is my favourite ever Parra player and some of the comments here are disgraceful.

Sure he could've done better with his finances but really that shouldn't mean he is a free target for idiots to kick him while he's down. He has achieved more than anyone on here ever will.

So Johns was a halves "consultant" who dropped in at training one every two weeks (and did the same for a few other clubs).

How do we suddenly go to needing a replacement "halves coach"? I think Ossy would be wise to take the money as a saving... just buy our halves a copy of this and be done with it:

If someone qualified for the position becomes available they'd be worth looking at, don't see the point in just going on an immediate headhunt for a halves consultancy role.

Once I agree, some people very harsh and cant understand all the ridicule Bert cops, yes possibly not the smartest bloke walking around but i for one believe nobody on this forum should be bagging a legend of the game and our club, what about some of thes bludgers running around in a Parra jersey these days making five times the money minus five times the effort, some people need to take a good hard look at themselves and compre their achievments in life to his and have f**ken heart! Give me Brett Kenny who bleeds blue and gold any day as oppossed to a tosser like John's, who has the clubs best interest Bert or that mercenary Johns?
