Kent or Bird

After watching the game I think Kent could fill the 5/8 spot. Defensively he has it all over Bird and given more time in the position could be our answer to the 5/8 spot.
I didn’t think bird was that slow Beats might give him a run for his money.

No! Bird is not a good utility player, he is a 5/8! At least for the remainder of this season he is to be kept in that position. Admittedly, his great performance today was also in part due to the fact that he got the ball (and yes that is a light dig at BK) but the point still stands that he shouldn't be moved anywhere. Like BK, he plays with heart. Well done Greg and welcome back! 8)

Mr Bird's tackle on replay doesn't look good. He has his hand between Mr Carmont's legs and Mr Carmont is lifted over the horizontal which is a big no no

the duck feels Mr Bird might be in for another short holiday

I'm for Kent his kicking game is far better and longer than Bird and Kent's passing game was awesome. Nige got more ball today than his total pocession for the year, give Kent a contract and let Birdy test the market.
