At the end Hilder wasnt around to kick and Rieck after scoring looked like he was injured :?

the duck thinks Mr Hilder might of been anxious to find out how Mr Dumas was. he was seen over with Mr Raper and the trainers before the try was given and instead of looking pleased about the win he had the lok of a worried man. poor fella.

it was his accidental knee that hurt Mr Dumas

could we blame Hilder for dumas injury. afterall it was his hip.

Why should bird test the market? he played is heart out today and it turned out well for him.

Did you guys notice the dopey commentators naming Sully lots of times when it was Kent???

They do look familiar on the feild though but sheesh!!!

Kent's Money went up after todays performance....

Bird is showing some experience and prolly will get the nod over Kent I reckon.

The tackle wasnt even bad/.

I rekon! And if it wasn't for a bloody touch judge it would've gone 'unoticed/unpunished'. Given Bird's track record I don't imagine he'll get away clean, but there was nothing in it? Bah! :?

Was it just me or did Bird play lock and we used about 4 5/8's?
We have all year.
It depends on feild position who plays 5/8th.
When we are in a scrum on our line, the 5/8th will go to lock & either Gallen or Bailey will take one pass off the scrum to get go forward.
I have also seen it happen on the line.
In attack, we rarely see the 5/8 standing outside the half "clasic style" but more often on the left side.
What was quite evident today was that thee was a pecking order for game control.
Sully was 1 if he was busy then Bird, then Kent.
But I wonder how the game would have panned out if Dumas was not injured.

I was at the roosters v sharks game at aussie stadium last year and although we lost one of the shining lights was KENT. He had an awesome game and should today what alot of people have always thought, he has the goods. His kicking game was great today and always a defensive hero. Bird had a good game also but as already pointed out might be off on sabatical.

Once again, ugly win but another 2 points, i didnt think we stood a chance but the boys really pulled together. :D :D :D :D

Not really a fair comparison as one kicks and passes and the other one hits gaps and steps late. I want them both around, Bird to the bench.

Sorry Duck, but it was his AASS that did the damage, not his knee.

Indeed Mr blacktip-reefy, as always accurate.

I didn't mean to give anyone a bum steer (pun intended - yessiree bob it was)

Mr Salmon

thankyou, we ducks are sensitive to these things.

Bird played great today, since his return, you can see the passion he is playing with, went Noddy gets back, they will click like never before the suspension has done Bird the world of good, good to see Kent play well, he will be our back up half/5/8 area now, just what we need
