Titans qb Kerry Collins has announced his retirement.

Not the least bit surprising but i do think this puts the titans in a bad spot. Locker could be the long term option but i dont think they want Locker to be their guy this coming year... they'll have to get involved in the vet QB market imo

Will be interesting to see where Young lands, if he's at a reasonable price, and he's wlling to go, sitting behind Mike Vick for a few years wouldnt be a bad thing for his career... and he'd get plenty of chances to show his wares with Vick pretty much certain to be injured at some points during the years

From memory Collins had a reasonable NFL career, the first QB for the new expansion team Carolina Panthers then had some off field problems with the drink if I remember correctly. The Giants threw him a life line and he played pretty well for the G-men for 4-5 years including a trip to the SB against the Ravens. Hope he has a good retirement, how time flies I remember when he first came into the league.
