Saul Williams - Sunday Bloody Sunday

This cover is amazing, along with the rest of the album (The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust!, which is free at www.niggytardust.com)

I'm downloading, although the website suggests it is going to be abysmal.

Well make sure you pay attention to the mans lyrics before you pass judgement. The pictures of him on the website are a parody of the mainstream hip hop artists with all their bling and he sometimes delivers his songs in a similar way to them to illustrate his point.

Sunday Bloody Sunday is not in that style though, but I think it may still be hard to digest for people not familiar with Trent Reznor's (or Saul's for that matter) work. The album as a whole probably wouldn't be accessible to most people.

That Atreyu version of "you give love a bad name" is f**king terrible. If you enjoy listening to a guy yelling for a few minutes and butchering the song you might enjoy it i guess...

I think you would like Ryan Adams & The Cardinals.

I recommend you get either Jacksonville City Nights or Cold Roses (or both).

Have about 6 Ryan Adams albums, he's good, but not awe inspiring to me.\\Can see why ppl would disagree though.

Have you got the ones I mentioned? They are more raw and less 'poppy' than most of his other stuff (JCN particularly).
