Kid falling over

Yeah i saw that... And he tried to brush it off like he didn't know...

But it was obvious he just didn't wanna carry it.

What was even up with that?? They were still holding them on the podium... I thought originally they were doing it like the AFL.... But there were no kids there...

After they went along the stage, they gave the ball to a kid, before they got to the podium at the end. You have to feel for the kid who didn't get given a ball.

Anyone see sonny bull not take the ball to give to the kids after? Can already imagine weedler interrupting his furious masturbating session to pump out an article that sonny boy was too distracted from the time he went to hospital to visit sick kids 4 months ago to bear facing another sick one.
I noticed that, and the lady kept on tapping on him trying to get his attention.

Yeah she tried for about 20 seconds, he just refused to acknowledge her.

It's hard to carry a mini football for 15 seconds to give to a kid with cancer though, I'm sure Sonny had his reasons.

I would love for someone to get DVR footage of SBW not taking the ball because I'm fairly certain the woman called him an asshole to one of her colleagues and it was audible.

Yup... I've stuck up for him a fair bit on these forums over the years...

But I saw it the same as you...

I would just hope he didn't realise that a child was going to get the ball... And hopefully he makes up for it to the kid.

f**k off. He just wasn't paying attention to the lady. The kid still gets the ball and still gets to give SBW his ring. You're overlooking the fact that he spent the longest time talking to the girl in the wheelchair. People on here like to put shit on SBW for no reason

He dropped the ball on the ground, and ignored her while she was tapping him on the shoulder. There is no way he had no idea what he was doing.

I think what it shows it how amateurish the whole trophy presentation is. Hardly any communication to the players of what is meant to happen

SBW was the only player who really spoke to the wheelchair girl and he even gave her a kiss.good onya SBW. some players didn`t even acknowledge the young girl.

Which is ironic because I thought the pre-game was the best I've seen in a GF in a long time...

I honestly didn't see him talking to the girl in the wheelchair, I saw Trent Robinson give her a football and a few players shake her hand, that was it.

He's a f**king rude grub, and a massively overhyped distraction. The NRL will be better of when he finally "makes up his mind" and does his boxing or plays rugby.

Where does this boxing shit keep coming from?
The bloke couldn't "box" his way out of a f**king wet paper bag.
In any case- he acknowledged the girl in the wheelchair etc and screwed up the ball thing.
He is a bit of a dick for doing that.
In his defence the whole presentation has become a shambles, particularly for a bunch of guys who have just spent 1.5 hours bashing the shit out of each other.

This one area the AFL takes a grand shit on us, by comparison there presentation is a finely tuned machine, ours featured Ken "gets involved once a year" Sutcliffe f**king up everything he could (embarrassing) and a poorly veiled attempt at copying what the AFL do.

I have to say, and I don't mean to sound like a prick, but the sick kids thing whilst admirable is an unnecessary distraction on what is already a busy juncture of the evening.

Also, there's too many people on stage

Why do we need politicians standing there?

Provan/Summons presenting the trophy and Clive Churchill's widow is enough imo. Dave Smith doesn't even need to be there
