I doubt Foran is going to jail. But the Warriors are somewhat foolish for signing him.

f**k Parra, offer Lolohea a contract already. He could get a halves spot with us.

Lolohea will learn off Foran if he still thinks he's a half. I think the Warriors should use him as the super sub player like Hohaia was back in the days. We are yet to see his very best and we may get that with Foran showing him the ropes

Okay but in other news we have the whole spine would you ever have thought this day would come? I mean the Warriors really needed a lift of good news due to recent failures for finals football. Just happy for us and Rugby League. We all won really not just Warrior fans

By all means get excited...

But I'm a Rugby League fan in NZ... I'm not a Warriors fan as such... but I f**king know what that mob are like...

They can't handle expectation... its nearly always been that way with them.

Warriors fans, congratulations, he's a great player, and I know that it's only a one year deal, but you realise that he could be kicked out of sport forever at almost any point right?

I don't understand why any club would sign him with that hanging over him. Let alone the reputation that he'll bring.

Incredible to see the Kiwis spine in one team, at the very least you have to appreciate that.

It's easy to look at the Warriors and expect the same old, but RTS returning, (very limited game time last year) and new coach and an experienced and talented 5/8 (who is also well known with the playmakers already) is certainly a huge improvement.
The flow on effect of Foran is less pressure on Luke and SJ, which means they can focus more on their natural game, and with Kearney taking the helm I just hope they are let loose, as any RL fan would.

We've yet to see the Warriors really click, and I think this year will be the making of something special.

For what?? Suffering from depression??

There's been absolutely nothing that's come out so far that has suggested any wrongdoing on his part.

All the talk that he's about to go to prison is crazy.

He certainly has questions to answer in regards to the money put into his TAB account but from what I've heard it was from his brother.

It's all a media beat up....

Don't be surprised if he's cleared quickly by the NRL and registered with the Warriors.

They are an important club for the NRL and will be trying everything they can to get them going good.

Jim Doyle's no idiot either... he practically created the integrity unit so I'm guessing he wouldn't sign Foran if he felt it wouldn't be green lighted.

Warriors GM Jim Doyle ain't no fool, he wouldn't be announcing this unless he knew the contract would get the green light from NRL HQ.
Doyle is the ex-2IC and the one clubs wanted to see as Dave Smith's successor

So its all a conicidence that manly games are being investigated when Foran was there and Hayson has confirmed he is friends with Kieran. Also confirmed that Kieran loves a punt.

Too much smoke for my liking.

How the hell can he shit on the Eels then play for another club next year..

Exactly what the Warriors need though a quality half with a steady head. Would be a massive signing for them.

I have a feeling the Eels were very happy to get rid of his contract.

I am saying that as a Parra fan and honestly believed he was our greatest signing ever.

Great footballer (no doubt) but massively worrying issues that have come out this year.

Lmfao... ohhh yeah thats it... Foran must be guilty because it was confirmed that he likes a punt... SMH...

It's a media beat up...

Just like the 'darkest day in sport'... they will probably have a 2 year investigation where it will probably end up with a slap on the hand....

What a low life dog
How is he a low life dog??

Parra granted his release because it was best for the club... they didn't for one minute do it as a favour to him...

They did it purely because with all his issues emerging they felt they made a mistake signing him to that huge contract and this was a way out for them.

They quite rightly f**king jumped at the opportunity to dodge a massive bullet.

But you can't have it both ways and expect him not to sign with anyone else.

Doesnt the NRL still have to approve this? Me thinks Warriors may be getting ahead of themselves.

First thing that I thought of, no comment from them as yet, after previously stating he would have to prove his mental fitness among other off field issues.

Does seem a bit premature,
