A few things.
No one is near Miller, maybe ET, but in a different way.
I will give you my opinion on Kimmorley after the new coach takes the reigns.
& after this year, Campbell may well have the same amount of GF's as kimmorley.
But he will definitely have scored more tries & more try assists than him in a GF.

addendum

Will Anderson besmirch the dally M's again & ridicule the winner.

i.e. Campbell dropped beforethe first game after winning the Dally M
& Gower, this years outright winner. Will he not be selected for Australia due to favouritism.

kimmorley will be selected for australia due to his good form and track record

gower is a great player but doesnt have the big game experience

and i will admit campbel has done very well this year

but i still rate kimmorley way higher

Did I miss something? There is no Dally M winner this year. And as good a season as Gower has had, I'd say it's a big leap to assume he was going to win it.

kimmorley if picked for Australia, will be picked because of who the coach is & nothing else.
If it was any other coach, he would barely be considered.
Gower has played nearly(if not) all games this year & is in incredible form. Same Orford & same Sherwin.
To pick a half back from a club who came near last, then, that player must have some kind of super power, leap tall buildings, that sort of thing.
Gower must be number 7.
If he is not, then we are back to the good old ARL days of chronyism etc.
The other point being, how will it effect the Sharks in terms of payment to kimmorley? His contract would have a huge bonus in it for Aus Rep wouldn't it? ;-)

reefy you know as well as i do that if barret bailey and ryles were fit they would be picked and the queens never made the finals either

so picking a player out of the bottom rungs is nothing new

your underestimation of kimmorley is colored by your intense hatred of anderson

kimmorley clearly outplayed sherwin last week and no-one would deny it

I just want to see him play a team game.
I make my judgement on Kimmorley after seeing him play under a different coach.
At the moment, he appears to outplay everybody because he touches the ball 5 out of every six tackles.
All other teams spread & vary the attack points.
At the moment, Kimmorley is 1 & 1. Can play under andersons instructions, can't play under anyone elses.
I don't like what is forming at Cronulla & his "total control" style. It is not good for the team & it is not healthy.
An example of the difference.
A.Johns does not "take" control. He often steps back. At times will be in 1 play in a set.
A.Johns dominates Kimmorley "takes control"
One is about quality the other is about quantity, to quote Sterlo.

& yes Dean you did miss something. It was leaked that Gower was leading going into the final rnd. Fittler & Shifcofske closest.

i dont know how much of your last post was theater

but to say kimmorley handles in every play is quite incorrect

he would handle more than most halfbacks and in an attacking position even more

but in general play there isnt any difference

Well there is only attack & defense.
If the ball is passed from dummy half, ever, Kimmorley get's it.
The most annoying thing is it just seems give the defense more time to smash the person he passed it too.
I liken it to watching U/8's. When you have to pass the ball 3 times before you can score.

Kimmorley hasn't played well since leaving melbourne!! where he had a world class forward pack to play behind. Your forwards are getting older and the new guys coming through need some more games before they can step up and fill their shoes...and yeh i agree brett only plays well under ando, he was crap at the eagles prolly the eagles biggest dud buy EVER!!!

just because he played one good game this year agaist the bulldogs doesnt' mean he should be on the tour...you can count the number of good games by brett on one hand!!!

all these player should be infront of brett "I'm not predictable" kimmorley

in not particular order:
gower
wing
orford
sherwin
cambell
firman (if he was fit)

It's over for brett he is getting older and looks slow when he plays
all those other halfbacks have caught up to him on skill over the last few seasons.

If he gets picked there will be a huge back lash and rightly so!!!!!

I'm so glad when kimmorley left we got mat orford its so hard to find a good half these days, they are an endangered spices like 5/8's are

Don Tweddle is the greatest ever Sharks player, followed by Nick Youngquest, Jim See and Shaun Wessel. :D

How old is he? 25 or 26? Obviously he should have retired years ago!

I would hardly call both Front and back pages of the Telegraph stating "GOWER ROBBED" and the points of the top players published, as a "leak" btr ;-)

I would just like to add here that if Gower is picked as the No.7 and BK is the reserve half, then maybe PC will be the No.6 also, as they do have a half combination now... But as we all know, CA will pick the teams on tour and I doubt either will make the run on teams in the Tests even though the selectors would expect this to be the case!

Blacky the way I read your first post on this thread is that Kimmorley didn't do much in the GF win by the Storm.

If I'm wrong sorry.

If I'm right then how cna you explain an unbiaised, something you could never be accused of, journalist in Fridays Tele rank his preformance as the Top 10 Grand Final stars of all time and the judges at the time award him the Churchill Medal?

Is this just more of your BS like the Easts scoring 3 out of four tries last week down Vagana's side.

I thought he played well in the GF actually.
But I also think there were two other players at least that were far more deserving of that the medal. kimmorley getting over one was one of the great league unjustices.
I have never seen a more dominating performance by a player ever than T in that G.Final. Maybe not the first half where he was just brilliant, but the second half was super human.
He was the man who turned the table & Lazarus the one who locked it in.
His performance reminded me of juniors when a player goes over the edge to the point of tears in trying so hard.
I used to play against a kid who played for De LA who used to do that. We at the dragons used to always beat Dela, but this kid would always try hard & he was good. after the first 5 minutes he would be in tears & trying his guts out. I'll never forget him. He used to shock me.
