With Leuluai suspended for two games are one or both these guys fit to play this week? I know Kite pulled out of the Country squad but I was unsure re: King.

Puts pressure on the forward rotation. Didn't another player also carry injuries out of the Brisbane game? :?

Will definitely test the depth of the lower grades. Three out makes a huge amount of difference..... #-o

* Williamson can play the full 80 as hooker if needed.
* Curtis can slot into hooker, second row or lock.
* Having Glenn & Curtis on the bench will make the job easier for Beaver & Watmough, who will hopefulyl be backing up from Friday.
* Stephenson isn't 1st grade material yet. Matai is.

Big ask of King to back up after the City Country game. Did he go off early with an arm injury?

cc to say matai is better than steppa is silly - mattai misses more tackles and gives more metres in defence.

Matai v Stephenson in my eyes are =

Matai may improve however at the moment I can not separate and I see both as stop gap solutions only.

i agree garts - each has strengths over the other - the way i see it steppa is a left centre, matai right, hill is a right centre - otherwise it would be the other in.

Garts - steppa is only young (20), i think they are both similar ages.

People talk about steppa like he has played 50 first grade games and is 25.

He has about 15, with 8 off the bench.

He hasnt been around that long.

Fluffy I think he is around the same age maybe 1 or 2 years older.

I guess what I meant was Matai may show us more the more game time he gets in 1st grade. Steppa has had more games than Matai and has failed to show a great deal of improvement, Matai may yet develop and prove me wrong. Hope he does!!!
