My old man (who I swear never says anything and is a million miles from the internet shit talker his son is) told me Freeman was an absolute arsehole. Never heard him say that about any other player. He also told me quite proudly how he laid him out with a right hand once, never told a similar yarn about anyone else. For whatever that’s worth.

Yeah always seemed like a cocky prick.

I understand Walsh, but damn it would've been good to get Kaeo Weekes.
Yeah, Weekes, Howarth and Ponga have all pretty much confirmed they would play for NZ if the Origin rules were the same for us as they are for the PI teams.

It's B/S that the rules haven't been changed when the supposed tier 2 teams are regularly winning matches against the supposed tier 1 teams.

Changing said rules would be a huge boost for international RL and RL in general.

Weekes and Howarth would most certainly be playing in this year pacific championship had they chosen the kiwis.
