Some very god points you mention there . Some of these guys play through injuries we arent even aware of.
Last point about our juniors is correct and a worry. I read an article during the season that ranked clubs by the amount of first graders developed and we were waaaaay down the list. Considering the massive nursery we have someone has a lot of questions to answer
Agree with the junior development of the past but I do hold some hope that one of the positives in securing Brownie, is his capacity to develop junior talent and maximise their potential(for our benefit).
As has been acknowledged in other posts, his stint in England was certainly stamped with a capacity to build a competitive team by making hard decisions to rid the club of rot, move on underperforming players and develop younger players to realise their potential.
It is not going to happen in a season but some of the signs on the clean out seem to reflect he is implementing his methodology and hopefully that progresses to that identification and development so that we are competitive within the next 2 seasons.
