Knights team vs Panthers?

lol @ anyone here who after everything that has happened this year, still thinks Dureau is a first grade quality halfback.

No , I really mean LOL.

My nightmare about this hack getting showered with praise for doing absolutely nothing in a win we EXPECT this weekend at HOME as FAVOURITES, is nothing compared to the nightmares the SUB will be experiencing about Frank Pritchard and Trent Waterhouse running at the turnstile all day.

Between Walsh and SuperSub this Sunday, if the amount of traffic going through both those turnstiles were electronically linked to the Knights turnstiles at the ground entrance, we'd end up setting a new ground attendance record.
what if dureau actually does have a good game, though? you gonna put your hand up?

FFS Karma you've already posted this once, get over the halves sh!t, you've made your pre game excuses, and reasons why Dureau might get lauded, we are all getting the idea. Lets hope Mullen decides to have a reasonable game along with the other fifteen, who just might have something to do with the outcome. Personally I hope (if he's selected) Dureau has a blinder, then I can come on here and say how he saved us, and we have him to thank for getting us into the eight. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. Oh hang on someones already said that!!

OMG, how thick are you all expecting people to laud him from 1 good game.

Dureau WILL have a BLINDER. I believe he will.

He will play the house down and be man of the match probably! I'm serious.

He's fantastic for the odd very very good game here and there, and he's obviously due because he hasn't played in a decade.

So yeah, BRING HIM ON. SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO SAVIOUR SUPER SUB.

Does that mean he has what it takes to consistently perform at NRL standard irrespective of his imminent man of the match performance this Sunday?

F*ck no.

I mean seriously, how much lower can it get for a first grader - being overlooked week to week for BEN ROGERS of all players. And only getting a run because of his suspension. I feel sorry for the bloke more than anything.

Was Patto left off the bench last night because of injury? Also is Dureau fit?

As bad luck as it is with Zeb and Rogers brain snap if they are both fit it is handy to have 2 players be able to come straight in.

Cory's Dad told me last night that he believes Cory wasn't injured.

All the talk of Dureau's consistency is hilarious.

Are you saying Rogers is consistent? LOL.

What about Walsh? LOL

Though if we do lose I look forward to how it was all due to Walsh no matter how little he does, which you certainly have a track record for.

Oh this is going to be good.

Rogers will get suspended, SuperSub will come into a side that will go in as favourite playing at home against Penrith, we'll beat the Panthers and make the 8 in a game we expect to win, and Dureau will be fawned over and hailed as the second coming of Christ for his catch and pass and kick display of limited skill averageness that allowed Mullen to play a blinder.

There'll then be a discussion about how the Sub outplayed Walsh in a must win game even though the Sub's played about 2 games to Walsh's thousand all year, and then Roopy will start on how Dureau is just a born winner and how we're so much better with him in the team than Rogers. ( even though he's been our most consistent half over the last 10 weeks )

I'm seeing the future, and I'm starting to feel ill already.

If the NRL Judiciary has any heart, please save me from this imminent nightmare.

And then there'll be an uproar when Rogers - who misses a week due to suspension - then plays in our semi final over the Sub.

Obviously you're one of those people expecting him to be lauded over. That's what you're saying above.

I expect people to laud over him Antonius, simply because too many people around here simply have NFI and will do it as some kind of consolation for him being overlooked all year for simply not being good enough - to Rogers of all people.

This is like the consolation prize all the Dureau fans have been craving.

Until Rogers suspension , he was non existent in our plans - because he simply isn't good enough.

And knowing the way people think around here, wait and see all kinds of bullsh*t come out when the Knights win this weekend. It will be sickening.

Of course it all becomes irrelevant if Pritchard has a field day running over the top of him and the Panthers win.

Honestly, I do not think there has been a more divisive player in the history of the Knights where so many people can't stand him, and so many people love him.

With Wes, we all think he sucks, same with all the maligned players in the past.

With Dureau, there's such a black/white opinion of his skills.

Seriously, even his fans would admit that so far, given all that has occurred in his career - especially this season, the anti Dureau side have been justified.

Yeh but what i'm saying Scott is, your saying people will laud over him, then saying people who expect him to be lauded over are thick! can't have it both ways. You're basically including yourself because you are saying people will laud him.

Ok that was kinda confusing. Maybe its not coming across the way I was intending.

Bottom line is, 1 good game doesn't make a season, but people around here will go on with all kinds of praise based on one good game.

Its to be expected. Its the same people who think the world is crashing in because of one loss.

Its just the mentality of the 'fans'.

Its just the way many fans work. They focus on what happened last week, or last night, and forget 10,12,14,16 weeks ago like it didn't happen.

One of the more hypocritical things you've ever said.
I'm sure Soward recovered after the same treatment.
Look at the absolute balls up of a decision it was to ever play Rogers in a game that meant something.

So you know how people think here? Seriously, does your elbow ever hurt from continuously patting yourself on the back? Maybe it's time you got off the forums and used your super powers for good!
Again a hugely hypocritical statement based on the way you mess yourself to Luke Walsh's play if the Panthers win. Despite him basically being a spectator the last 6 weeks.

Of course it all becomes irrelevant if Pritchard has a field day running over the top of him and the Panthers win.

Honestly, I do not think there has been a more divisive player in the history of the Knights where so many people can't stand him, and so many people love him.

Well I'm sure he would be the first person that has ever happened to so he should be ashamed!:sarcasm:
And as for divisive we've had plenty over the years. As for this year Ben Rogers is no better or worse in the category. Fans didn't even want him signed. Well St George fans did after he single handedly lost them a finals series last year.

With Wes, we all think he sucks, same with all the maligned players in the past.

With Dureau, there's such a black/white opinion of his skills.

Seriously, even his fans would admit that so far, given all that has occurred in his career - especially this season, the anti Dureau side have been justified.

You do realise he's what.. 22? Career over clearly.
