Well i wasn't expecting much more, I knew would we get hammered with the calibre of players we had out. The team lacked direction, especially missing Buderus and Johns. We didn't have a leader around the ruck. Although Craig Smith stepped up and played an absolute blinder, we lacked direction through the halves mainly through lack of experience. The wingers didn't get enough ball to use and that was mainly due to Parra's defence. It rushed up and caused the young halves to hesitate and simply make the wrong decision. Time will surely improve their game and losses like these are learning curves and should be better players next year. Playing Manly is a concern, but if Souths managed to flog them, we should just manage to beat them. However, they could lift and smash us. Just like it happened last year. Well, the season is gone but the boys will be playing for pride and I see improvement in our team even if we don't win.
