yeah my family doesn't celebrate them either, well i don't see or like my father so that is why we don't celebrate fathersady and mothers day is just a happy mothers day mum, lets go to the footy. lol
we have beent o the footy for teh last 4 years on mothers day lol. but it is all good, my mum loves footy, so it is a good present for her

and she replys " if i get to see the oys play footy it is worth it!"
it is funny though, cause she only started watching footy in 2001 when i made her watc SOO and she loved joey.... she still does! oh and she loves super hubert...
but she is woried she won't know any of the boys on the team lol
