Its a problem Smith never fixed, they knock off. To be honest has there ever been a newcastle side that did play for 80 mins? I dont recall seeing one.

You could be a bit hard on the boys there. We seem to have picked up a few injuries from the 65 min mark. Luila the field as the final Knights try was scored, Waltzing left just after that and Ben Rogers with 10 to go (we actually lifted at this point )

We got the 2 competition points. That is all.

C'mon peeps, cut them some slack. This is melbourne we are talking about, the chip kick to Slater is virtually undefendable, and they were bound to score a few points against us at some stage, I'm just glad it happened when we were 26 up and the game virtually over. Lets be happy that we got the points and are in the top 8. And we have the Cowboys next week who didn't play too convincingly on Friday, IMO of the 4 games we had remaining before this week, this was the one I am most worried about. I am now expecting us to get the points against NQ and Penrith, and if we somehow fluke a win against the Raiders I will be over the moon. The hardest part is over so lets get behind the boys for their charge home!!!
