Wow, what a game, The boys had another fantastic game, and even though it was a close win, we still won, and without some of our major players again!!! How good was that!! to win in Brisbane again this year!! I think we finally have the monkey off out backs!!

Well done Knights and Knights fans!! From a broken hearted broncs fan, I congratulate all of you on a great win.

The match was fantastic - great atmosphere and wonderful football. Really a bit of a shame that a team had to lose, specially my team ;-)

On a serious note though I have to say that both teams played amazing football and you guys deserve the two points. Simple as that. There will no doubt be a lot of people complaining about refs calls or whatever, but that's the past and who cares? Quite frankly I'm extremely proud of my boys tonight despite the result.

We saw two great sides go head to head without a lot of "stars". A lot of young blokes put their hands up tonight and gave us a great spectacle. And for that, I thank all of them.

Congrats, and see you later on in the year :D

I was annoyed at CH 9, that they took a brake with 2 minutes to go during a set of six. It basically told me it was going to ET.

Holy sh*t. I was at the agme and I can tell you the atmosphere was awesome. I was copping sh*t from the Broncos fans the entire game until Kurt kicked that field goal, and then I unleashed the FURY!!!

But as for the actual game, we would not have won without Anthony Quinn. Don't know if it came across on tv, but he was superb, SEVERAL try saving tackles, strong runs, easily the best game I've seen him play.

And as for Danny Buderus, was that not one of the best solo dummy half trys you've ever seen??? Karmeichal Hunt had absolutely no idea where he was going... not to mention the fact that he went past Carroll, Tallis and Parker before he even got to Hunt...pure genius...give him the NSW captaincy right now.

I thought everyone played really well, the defence was excellent again, especially the scrambling defence after line breaks, we might have been smashed if it wasn't for that.

All I have to say is that to beat Brisbane, in Brisbane when you lose Kennedy and Hughes early in the game, when you already have 4 internationals and a city country player out...is just TOPS!!!!

Man I'm so hyped up right now...I have to type because I lost my voice yelling at my mates about how great we we're. And the best part is with the bye next week its basically a 4 point win.

I only just finished watching it coz I was out until 11pm. I jumped up and down after he awarded the Field Goal but I couldnt yell and scream as my 13 month old baby boy was asleep in the next room.
So without being able to release all my emotions I sat on the lounge and nearly burst into tears. Woosy I know.....but when you have people bagging you left right and centre for being a one man team, it feels so damn good to win 3 games in a row, two of them against the top teams in the competition.
I actually havent felt this emotional since the 1997 Grand Final win. I know we won it in 2001 but it was a little different seeing as the game was all but over at half-time. The fact we won it after such a tight contest (as we did in 1997) just highlights it even more. This game goes down as one of the best we have ever won. Here is my current top 5:-
1. 1997 Grand Final
2. 2001 Grand Final
3. 2004 Round 10 vs Brisbane 17-16
4. 2001 (forget which round) vs Brisbane 40-0 (Joeys first game back)
5. 2004 Round 9 vs Bulldogs 32-6

So many more games can fit in to the top 10 though with special mentions to the 1997 semi final win against Norths to get us into the GF and the 2001 first final against the Roosters where we flogged em good. Hehehe....I dont think I can sleep now.....

What a game!

A fantastsic game of footy. I still don't agree with golden point, those players are going to find it tough tomorrow morning, lucky there's a bye next week.

Few issues:

Kennedy. 15 minutes from his last two appearences, both of them in the "must play to be available for rep footy" matches. This scenario only seems to be an advantage to Kennedy and not to the team. Lets get priorities back onto health over rep footy, shall we?

Perry. Last year you soaked up a hell of a lot of the club's salary cap dosh, but what are we getting out of it? We are getting 10 minutes of good footy, followed by 10 minutes of ordinary footy. Kudos for playing an extended stint lt night, but if you weren't so fat, you wouldn't struggle so much. Time to stop counting the $$$ and run around the block a few times. Now we've got to wait on another report on you too while Adam Woolnough is coming off contract and deserves a piece of your pie.

Kurt. A top notch second half, but a pretty ordinary first. It looked like another case of two steps forward and one back, but he got over it. Some of that maturity is coming out. Could do with learning to get his drop kicks off in a bit more of a hurry though.

Anyway, hats off to Buderus for another block buster.

Thanks for your congratulations miccle. It was definitely a very even contest last night.

What an awesome game. The Knights were very brave to compete with only 15 men for almost the entire match. Their fitness was one of the things that got them over the line - that and youthful enthusiasm and composure :D

chinorocks, agree with you about Quinn. We did see a couple of trysaving tackles from Quinn. Top stuff. Hall had a mixed evening but IMO came out on top due to the tries he scored, despite a couple of knock ons.

DMC I agree with you about Kennedy. What a shocker. The Channel 9 commentary team mentioned that he played without the 100% backing of the Knights medical staff. So not only have the Knights lost an inspirational player, but they were down a man. Not good enough as far as I am concerned. Particularly bad since we lost Hughes as well - hope he recovers quickly as he was just finding his feet again and it would be a pity if he's not back soon.

I must admit that I was nervous about our defence after Frawley scored the first try, but after that things seemed to go ok.

Well...That was one of the best games i have ever seen...and i sure am feeling it this morning. I've lost the voice and im feelin' a little under the weather. I must say I freaked out when ol webke had a big run right there at the end, but it was all good.

Kurt, one of the worst kicks i've ever seen was transformed into the prettiest!! :D

Also, it was great to finally meet some of you guys, CH, Johns all day, clint and stevo and Legallyblonde. It was a deadset ripper!!!!

About kennedy .

He shouldn't of played ,it just makes it so hard on the guys that are left on the field .

It could of made the difference in the end especially since it went into ET .

Luckily it didn't this time.

Anyway I just wanted to say how proud I was of the boys WINNING last night.

They have the Knights Spirit....never give in

1.Matt Gidley was outsatnding.Other 'fans' can call him'turnstyles',but there was NO MISTACKLES by gids last night.he came up with some crucial tackles to save tries.
2.Danny Buderus ...what can you say ,just another great performance yet again.
If the Blues a looking for a NSW captain.
Here is your man.
He has been our captain now in TWO BIG wins in two weeks ,and what better way for a captain than to take charge over the match like he did with 10 mins to go...with a SUPBERB solo try...and didn't the knights 'lift' after that try.
That is what you want from your captain.
Take a bow danny
3.Craig Hall made 248 metres from 19 hitups and also had 3 out of the knights total 4 line breaks, one of the best games I've seen him play !
Well done

everytime hally had the ball he looked tobust em straight up the middle, i usually find myself criticising him for taking so many hit ups a game, its as if hes trying to make himself look better on paper, but tonight he was fkn terrific
