everytime hally had the ball he looked tobust em straight up the middle, i usually find myself criticising him for taking so many hit ups a game, its as if hes trying to make himself look better on paper, but tonight he was fkn terrific
Yep, add that to the reasons why I think Hall made up for the mistakes that he made. He made a couple of line breaks, and threatened to make a couple more. Top stuff.

Matt Gidley was outsatnding.Other 'fans' can call him'turnstyles',but there was NO MISTACKLES by gids last night.he came up with some crucial tackles to save tries.
He was great. Onto another player who played out of position - Lowrie. I thought his effort in the centres was great. I was really worried that a speedier man would get around him but I don't think that happened once.

I'm rapt about the commitment of every player on the team at the moment.

Hall ran 70 metres and pulled away from Tate and Kelly who are supposed to be two of the fastest guys around.

Carmont is a star already, and getting better every game.

Matt Gidley is probably our second best defender behind only Kurt Gidley.

Ennis gave us a lot of options at lock, and we need a lot more options.

All the forwards went great. We now have about 15 firstgrade standard forwards and the best overall forward depth in the comp.

Kidley had his best kicking game yet.

Buderus is our best.

everyones said it already, but oh my freakin god how good was that.
Gidley at the back saved atleast 2 certain tries that I can remember. one where he somehow managed to get his fingers on a pass that would of seen the broncs in for sure.
Hally ran the ball like a turbocharged tank.
Buderus. What can you say that hasn't been said already.NSW 9.Buderus(C.)
Eveyone who played that game for both sides I thought were absolutely brilliant. It takes 2 great sides to make atruly memorable game, and that's what we got last night.
Yes we've won 3 in a row but thats 4 great performances against quality opposition in the last 5 weeks.
Our forwards were awesome aswell.
Good stuff boys

I was absolutely stoked with the win. A lot of people at my work were calling us "one hit wonders" and that we'd get thrashed this week. I tipped the Bulldogs last week stupidly, but I told everyone "I think we have a chance of knocking the Broncos off". Feels great to be right, and finally tip us and get it right again. :D I should have never doubted us last week.

Anyway, back on the game, what a stupid thing of Kennedy to play. He lasted all of 17 minutes. All I'd been hearing during the week was he was supposedly 100% fit, he didn't look it! BK: here's the thing, the young guys have been working so hard and will continue to do so. What you need to do is rest PROPERLY and come back when you are nothing short of 100% fit.

Kidley was superb. His kicking game was the best we've seen so far. Looks like some of the training is paying off. The field goal was a shockingly wobbly one, but it went over, that's the main thing! He's just developed so much, and made that #7 jersey his own. Well done Kurt!

Buderus was fantastic. As a few people have said here, give him the Blues captaincy already. I can definately see Bedsey as a captain in the future. He may even get his chance if Kennedy & Johns both decide not to re-sign. He's just one of the most creative hookers. Blows me away..!

Craig Hall, Anthony Quinn, George Carmont, Matthew Gidley, Andrew Price, Todd Lowrie, Adam Woolnough, just to name a few, were superb last night. I honestly think Matt Gidley had the best game we've seen from him in a long time. Very impressive leading up to Origin  Craig Hall, simply awesome. Two tries, and showed a lot of pace for the 2nd. George Carmont could be a surprise contender for rookie of the year, who knows?

Anyone see Clint Newton's kick? What a classic!

Anyway, fantastic effort by the boys. I think this will finally put the critics to bed over the "can't win without Johns" theory. Last week silenced it, this week put it to bed. I'm just still so happy! :D

I tried to get on here last night, but it wouldn't let me.... Last night I was shaking, it was great
I was so shitty when 9 went to an add break... I was yelling at the telly.
I'm so proud of the team for what they did last night. Carmont is just a great find for this club and is getting better and better every week.
That kick, what a shocker, but it went over and I was so excited, jumping around in my flat... Good one Kurt :D
Danny... well what a champion... that's why his my fave player... as per usual never lets the team down, as has been said he will look good with the (c) next to his name.
Congrats to Brisbane to for giving us a good game to watch, these teams always give good entertainment.

It was a great game :D

I really loved the way that all the broncos fans were so loud all night, but as soon as the field goal went through there was total silence.

Now I can't wait for school on monday, it should be alot of fun ;-)

A top class game by two undermanned sides

Danny Buderus, Craig Hall and Matthew Gidley take a bow, all contributed to the Knights win. Others have alreadly stated it, but how good was M.Gidley at the back after Hughes went off injured  I thought that we would have been screwed once we lost our fullback with no obvious replacement available.

The Broncos were probably unlucky to lose it but I think it was about time the Knights had some luck go their way. :D

I missed the first half and really only saw the final 20 and then extra time...the boys were gutsy during that time. The game could have so easily have been 22-10 if the pass to Frawley stuck - that missed chance really brought down the Broncos - they looked tired and down. The game was still going flat out at that stage - who can blame them?

The Buderus try changed the game - was an amazing dummy. Hunt had to make a choice and you really couldnt blame him for going the wrong way. But the try lifted them - they dominated the Broncos in attack from then on.

I'm going to watch the whole game on FOX this arvo and get a full guage of the game. Kennedy's decision to play so he could be considered for SOO is an incredibly selfish one - I think it's something the boys around him doesnt really need. Like I said a few weeks ago, it seems like we have a group of individuals at times rather than a team.

I still dont think that the win will be enough for people to say we cant win without Johns - if Lockyer played it would have been. The team has to just concentrate on what they are doing and keep doing it. The defence has been great, attack is doing some great things. Keep it up :)

I said last week that it was the Knights best ever win, well I was wrong, last night was, the team carried on where they left off against the Dogs. The game had everything you want from a footy game, great defence by both teams, brilliant ball movement, controversy (that went both ways) nail biting finish (it really was a shame someone had to lose) One of the best dummy half runs I've seen. The team have shoved the one man team tag forever down the throats of everyone who has ever said it (and there's a lot of prominant "experts" included amongst them) the term "turnstiles" that Matt gidley has endured by certain fans of other clubs was also shoved down their necks, his defence was first class. We don't need to pay out big dollars to have a winning footy team these blokes will do me any day. Danny Buderus will win this years golden boot I have no doubts about that he is the best player in the world. Awesome game, great result for 15 very commited football players. Being a Knights fan this past few weeks means feeling ten foot tall.

I am still so excited about the game and the result!!!! :D :D :D When I woke up this morning I had to run downstairs to get the newspaper to make sure that the awesome game and us winning hadn't been a dream! Not that the QLD newspapers wanted to help me with that confirmation ... there was nothing on the front page, and all I got on the back page of Sport was a picture of Gorden Tallis, yuck!

But we really did win ... ohmigod ... I had such a bad feeling that we were going to get smashed last night ... but we had 17 men (well ... 15 ) who stood up and proved me wrong ... and for that I thank them. What a bunch of champions. There really wasn't a bad player on the field last night, and that's including both teams. Like antonius said, it's a shame someone had to lose. I'm just glad it wasn't us! :) Great game. It would have to be the best I have seen. The atmosphere was first class. Nothing will compare to that game. The silence when Kidley kicked that field goal was absolutely priceless. And the fact that it looked like it was going to be such a sh!t attempt ... I mean it had to fall short for sure ... but no, it was wonky as hell but still it glided over and won the match for us ... I have tears in my eyes as I am typing this! Well done Knights. I have never been so proud of my boys, ever.

It was great to meet les norton and Samwise ... you are both really nice people. :) It's good to finally put some names to faces ... or is it the other way round ... I can't think straight, too exicted after our awesome win! But anyhow ... hope to see you again soon! :)

And of course it was great to catch up with Chicken_Hunter, legallyblonde, stevo and Clint again! How good was it at The Caxton! A great end to a great night. Can't wait till next year's game with you guys! :)
