Carmont-a champion in the making.If he des not follow Bederus on the outside then Bederus doesnt score.HIS PRESENCE there was the try cause it created doubt for the defence.A simple play to follow the ball carrier up but THE play of the match.
Parsons-If it was ANY other player on the field doing that charge down kick its a Broncos win.Good on the big fella for making the effort in extra time.
M.Gidley-How anyone can now call him"turnstiles" in now beyond me!

Great old Parso blocked that kick (and sun :lol: ) and allowed game to continue for golden point.

how instense was the game....i was sitting on the edge of my seat at home...i swear i scored that try with besdy i was screaming at the tv...and kidley what a kick- a shocker but who cares it went over,....

Then when Kidley kicked the goal I was jumping around the lounge room,lol.

What a great game. Well worth the trip up to Brisbane for it. I almost had several heart attacks in the last 10 mins of the game. There was this really drunk newie suport near us who kept trying to sing the club song but the problem was he only knew the first 2 and last lines of the song and he was singing it at half time :lol: But we started singing it really loud after Kidley kicked that goal. Kidley and Newton both made 40 tackles with Perry, Buderus, Wooly, Lowrie and Price in the 30's huge effort by them. Buderus's try was amazing, fantasic dummy half run. Give him the blues captaincy.

oh yeah!! the best game ive ever been to for sure, the game was an absolute thiller, venue was great and the atmosphere was amazing.

my birthday pressie was to fly up there for that game and id definatley say that was the best bday present eva!!!
everyone has said it all..... everyone was great and did their jobs. buderus is a bloody legend and if he doesnt get the nsw captaincy ill eat my hat!
when kidley kicked the goal i nearly passed out from jumping up so fast!

there may also be another knights fan now... i think ive turned my cousin

i dont have any nails left as i bit most of them off during the game. i am just so glad to have been at the best game ever!
im alss very thankful that parso if as tall as he is cos if he wasnt that tall then the brocnos may have got that field goal.

Great game, great crowd, my throat was soo hoarse in the morning from yelling. After the game at the cacco was sweet as, except for the price of drinks outside.. Shook a few players hands and congratulated them on the win..
