9 players made 100m for us! Costigan was 2m away from making it 10 of them. That's crazy I haven't seen that before!

It was something I noticed early in the game how we seemed really balanced and everyone getting a go at having a hitup.

Fu*k yeeeaaaaah!!! Pumped as! Beau Scott legendary performance, to anyone who doesn't rate him, this is why we bought players like him and Smith. They stand up in the big games and Bedsy has wound back the clock. No one is knocking our "old blokes" now I bet.

We have peaked at the right time and we'll seriously trouble Melbourne. I can taste a premiership! Tyrone showed once and for all that he belongs in our side and even Nev is going good. Give us the title now!!!!!!!
Yep he was great , very composed and full of confidence in this game. He's a talent , people just have to give him time. Next year he will be even better. He's a former junior Roo, the potential is there.

I reckon Tyrone has been pretty bloody good since Gower got here, to be honest... and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the main reason Dobson is coming over next year, either. Wayne has a lot of faith in Tyrone, he's keeping him on his toes, though.

Who would you say are better now?
Yeh they arent far off are they, maybe people could argue Lyon and Matai ? but they will fade in the next year or so. This backline we have has huge potential , cant recall being more excited about a backline for a very long time. They could be anything.

Heading up the M1 with a sore throat, a killer headache and loss of hearing but one proud f**king Knights fan. Certainly going to catch the replay tonight.

What a win. Bring on the Storm because after what I've seen this week, we can get it done.

+1 a win always make the trip home better. On the bus now.

My hoodoo of away games has now been broken.

Waving the Dogs fans away was arguably one of the best thing I've been apart of at the footy.

Will mostly be echoing stuff people have already said but:

Outstanding and committed performance. Honestly it is what I expected we would produce come finals time. We really took them on in defence and up the middle, which is one of the Bulldogs traditional strengths. Wayne said in the presser that taking them on in the middle was part of our plan, which surprised me a bit. But it did force the Dogs into throwing it round more than they probably should have, and our edge defence was up to it. Guys like Scott were immense in this regard, also Gagai made numerous quality reads and Joseph is turning into a fine young player.

I thought our first 15 minutes was very average actually. We looked slow in attack, almost reminiscent of that period when we were playing our worst football. The hit on McManus should have been penalised and could be at least partially to blame for their only try. After that 15 minute mark we had 5 minutes of outstanding D which may have snapped the boys out of their funk, while at the same time was probably the winning of the game.

The bench came on and mostly continued to do the work. Hilder was very solid although I must admit I was counting down the minutes until Buderus came back on. What else can we say about the bloke, what an absolute legend. McKinnon I thought was very good and brings good aggression in D, can't believe some people don't think he belongs in our 17. Smith was huge, and Mason had a roughish start but definitely came good.

The sin bin of Houston I thought was fair, after all we've been calling for these kind of calls all year. Just a bit ironic that it happened to us. I will say that in the play previous leading up to the intercept Ennis should have definitely been penalised for blatantly working Roberts over after the tackle was complete. However karma had its say and the grub had a shit game and gave away numerous penalties (and gave me plenty of lols when he complained to the ref that we were sooking ).

Oh yeah, the other thing was our kick chase. Plenty of red and blue shirts there to meet the Dogs backs in the in-goal numerous times.

Just got home from the footy, great day.

Our defense in the first half when we held them for 4 sets on our line then defused the kick and marched it 80 in reply was the turning point, from then on they knew they had the dogs measure.

Then when House got sent for nothing, they dug in and earned 2 points when everyone expected them to perhaps concede points.

I can't speak from yelling but it was worth it.

We will go to Melbourne with enormous confidence built on rock solid defense.

Unbelievable performance.

One final point, the refs gave us nothing all game and the dogs were coached to stay down after any hit and Ennis was a total grub.

It obviously surprised the dogs also

I thought he was just trying to get onside, the sin bin was harsh. Particularly as Cronks stayed on the field with far far far far worse. If that was a sin bin Cronk's was a send off and not come back and suspended for the rest of the year.

This is a real trend at the moment and a very very disturbing one. Has the potential to ruin the game more than the wrestle or any other tactic in the history of the game. The officials running the game need to work out a way to address this and do it quickly.

How good was it to see 4 players chasing Reynolds after the intercept? You barely see that from any team let alone ours.

It has taken Wayne a long time to get them to play the way they are, but gee it's good now that they are. The defence was brilliant given realistically our best 2 front rowers were out. They really made the Dogs forwards look slow. Everybody had a massive dig - they knew how important the game was and really lifted for it.

Scott and McKinnon - the hits today were fantastic, relentless. Alex in particular came up with some massive plays to turnover the ball.

Attack was great today. Sure there was some drop ball which they can't do from here on in, however there was enough to show that we can give the Storm a massive shake. Who knows from there...

Incredible! Boyd, Mullen, Rochow and Tyrone who made the diving tackle!

Also another side note, a Newcastle chant in Sydney was something special and almost puts our recent home game chants to shame!

Well there was plenty of red and blue there today. Somehow a couple of Dogs supporters ended up in the area I was sitting

It was a grand thing to hear the Newcastle chant on TV with so much power and belief behind it. I'm certain our boys would have gone up a gear after hearing that.

I'm so proud of our team. Any wins from here on in are a bonus. We've finally found the consistency we've been hoping for. Go Knights! Go proud!

Incredulous! Why didn't you have your people escort them to a more... suitable... area of the grandstand?
