Leilua our best by a margin i'd say - some real tough metres when we were going nowhere. Smith 2nd best.

McKinnon has been excellent since coming on.

I'm still chuckling at whoever those people were who labelled him "Junior Sau Mark II".

Sometimes I think people just don't watch any football before commenting. He's an absolute beast.

Great defence on our line but they have made a few half breaks on our edges when they are in their own half.

Gotta keep going to Leilua when we get close to their line, he's making good metres.
I think we got dis.

I want to see a real focus on repeat sets this half. This game is ours to lose, we need to control the tempo by limiting their opportunities against a retreating defensive line.

Wobbly grubbers into the in-goal with an aggressive chase should be a priority if we haven't scored a try. Too often a cheap turnover leads to the opposition getting on an immediate march downfield.

Ennis has done at least three things that should've been penalties:

1. The high shot on McManus
2. Caught totally offside at marker, and you could hear Knights' players screaming it at the ref
3. After that no penalty for offside, he pushes our player just as he's trying to play the ball.

Some players and teams thrive off the knowledge the refs will only ever blow so many penalties in a game. They'll never let it get ridiculous. And if you can give your penalties away at 'good' times, like early in the tackle count or when defending your line under pressure, they all add up the same in the stats column.

If I was a coach these days I'd actually encourage my team to give away penalties at appropriate times because it can save you being penalised at more important moments later on.

I'm sure the coaches already do that, the top 4 teams in the comp all lead the comp in penalties given away in these areas

Yeah absolutely. I didn't mean to suggest it would be my revolutionary idea. The top teams are doing it, no doubt.

I just hate that it has become a tactic. Needs to be addressed.

Typical Knights. Only we could cause a complete turnaround like that through sheer f**kwitery.

I hate you Neville Costigan. I hate everything you do. What a dumb, dumb pass from a dumb, dumb player.

Oh and what a surprise, we get a player binned after it was our game and us getting totally screwed that made the NRL change their entire approach to professional fouls to the way it already should have been.

Absolute bullshit that Ennis didn't get penalised for his work on Roberts before we threw the intercept. Obvious penalty any day of the week.

We should've just cut our losses and put up a bomb. But nope, just as I suggested we would at half time, we panicked on the last tackle and it cost us all our momentum.

Ridiculous stupidity firing passes like that after so much broken play when you should know the opposition are lurking up you.

100 per cent. That takes Ennis' personal tally up to 4 in my book.

Brilliant Gagai, just brilliant. That's a classy footballer playing what he sees and doing it perfectly.

Um, why are we kicking for goal? That's exactly what they want us to do. 10 points is a dangerous lead.

We don't back ourselves to score a try and just about put it to bed?
