I think we will struggle up front against the dogs without Snowden and Cuthbo.

I know we have beaten them twice this year but semi final football is different. The dogs have a monster pack and I don't see us holding them out without 2 of our form props.

Pretty sure cuthbo was close to playing against parra, so he's surely a chance this weekend

Well with all due respect I DID get spat on by one after a game once so do you blame me?

Once? How long ago? If we held the actions of one person as true across the majority, we would all be on the pinga's......

Maybe that one single person that spat on your wasn't at those games. Why make it a Bulldogs thing?

Its actually a Newcastle thing mate. It is part of the culture of those born, bred and never left..... I should know. I was one of them.

The world is a big, wonderful place Ian. Embrace it.

Their pack may be big but they are fairly tired at times. I'd even go as far as saying they can be lazy. Our backs and halves sh*t on theirs too and it's not hard to stir James Graham up and make him give away a few penalties. That's Willies job.

The key will be to control field position and not give away penalties in our own half. Kasiano and Prichard running close to our line will kill us if we allow them to do it

Need to organise a royal commission to find out who had the nerve to spit on Ian stat. Was it a bulldogs fan like Ian claims? Or was it a secret goat mistress? Or was it Frederick?

June 3, 2006.... Knights Bulldogs. We're enjoying a beautiful afternoon in the right stand when a crucial Newton error destroyed our momentum and cost the Knights the game.

Our day was ruined. There was a lot of people, you know, they were waiting by the player's parking lot. Now we're coming down the ramp. Ian was in front of me. Clint was coming toward us, as he passes Ian turns and says, " Nice game pretty boy." Clint continued past us up the ramp.

A second later, something happened that changed us in a deep and profound way front that day forward.

He spit on us.... and Ian screamed out, "I'm hit!"

Then I turned and the spit ricochet of him and it hit me.

Henceforth Ian has been known as Ian Golly. Or as you might know him, IanG.

I'd sit through a spit bukkake to watch us beat these pricks.

Cuthbertson returning would be a massive bonus especially his yardage and brilliant hands. If we ever let Cuthbo go I will be dirty on the club. Started so so but he is all quality when fit.

Good question

I think Costigan would be the man to go, maybe Fa'alongo? Tough on either of them given recent form

Do we make changes to a winning team at this point in the season?
Exactly.

Costigan has gone really under the radar the past 6 or so weeks and is doing his job.

Fa'alogo is strong, good tank on him and an enforcer I wouldn't want to drop.

Houston's been tops when playing in the middle.

I'd almost say McKinnon for Cuthbertson if it were to be anyone.

We're unchanged from the Eels game. No extended bench.

I'm hoping Cuthbo makes a return. Not sure for who though.

I still feel like Costigan's gonna drop every time he hits the ball up, either in contact or when he goes to play the ball. He has been more solid recently though.

TBH none of our forwards have been in poor form for quite a while.

Hilder named means he will have more time training with them if he didn't last week. I don;t expect him to have much time but could be a benefit if he also has to come on for another forward being injured or just not on the ball.
