I'm spittn chips that Snowden isnt going to be playing , if he was I'm confident we could of pushed deep into the finals.

Im calling it now. Snowden is the reason we wont win this game.

Our pack will struggle to contain theirs.

Did wonder about Tickets. This is one hand where I DON'T want to mingle with and be surrounded by opposition fans.

LOL.

Typical sheltered Newcastle point of view.

It was 10 years ago that the Bulldogs had issues at the grounds. Its sweet now.

The streets around Bankstown after the game are another story though.

I'm glad we've got Willie and Danny on deck, because we're going to need every ounce of leadership in the pack with Snowden absent.

I reckon we've got them by a length in the backs and halves, but their pack is daunting.

Their pack might be intimidating at times, but they're also equally as lazy. When they're lazy, they've relied on Barba, Morris, Reynolds, Perrett etc to get them through. Too bad Barba is only a fifth as good as he was last year.

I've got this bloody strong gut feeling we're going to knock off the Bulldogs in this one. Lock it in Eddie. We've got the defensive fortitude to hold 'em out and with a backline that is brimming with confidence (love Joey Leilua's work for us... has to be one of the buys of the season!) we should be able to put on the points.

It is likely I will be accused of getting ahead of myself here, but what the hell. If Souffs lose and we beat them the following weekend, I'll consider our season a success even if we don't make it any further. At least I'll have a hearty lol@souffs to keep me going during the off season

We're certainly capable. I'm stoked that we made the finals, but I think we need to reach at least week 2 to call this year a success. We'll be playing hard to send Bedsy out a winner, I'm sure. We'll see how far that can carry us.

Well with all due respect I DID get spat on by one after a game once so do you blame me?

Are you sure it wasn't a goat that spat on you coz, ya know, they do spit. Pretty sure it's one of their matings calls too.

One game at a time boys. I really think we can win this week but we have to keep our on-line defence solid. It has been off a little the past few weeks (before Parra anyway).

Would love to be able to make it to this (or any of our) finals match but just can't afford it living in Brissy. However I will find a way to get there should we make the big one.

The thing I hate about this game is the fact I think the Bulldogs have been dead average all year but still managed to make the 8 and now that they are there they will return to last years form with the motivation of unfinished business.

I'm really excited about the future of our backline and this bloke is one of the main reasons, both him and Gagai are up and coming stars of the game, they compliment each others styles perfectly, add that to Mullen becoming a more complete footballer, 2 of the best wingers in the game , an exciting young half that is going to come into his own over the next 2 seasons and a fullback that is all class and we are a one very lethal team. We are a couple of monster mongrels in the pack away from being a dominate team.

...and we need to find a good replacement for one of the best #9's seen. I know a lot of people are talking up Clydesdale, but we lost heaps with Bedsy. Hope he comes in and goes well.

Need to organise a royal commission to find out who had the nerve to spit on Ian stat. Was it a bulldogs fan like Ian claims? Or was it a secret goat mistress? Or was it Frederick?
