just a trial i know but our attack and more specifically backline plays are absolutely terrible, passes not hitting mark, players standing too flat, etc

not a fan of Crossland at dummy half, seems to take an eternity to bend down and pick the ball up and then kind of takes a moment to find the pass, dummy half does not seem like a natural position at all for him

Klem was our best player when the top squad was out there.

Clifford and Clune were good.

Young will score 20 tries this year.

Will Hoy play fullback or halves in this second half?

keen as to see Hodgson out there

Clune impressive

Klem showed more in attack in 20 minutes than he did all of last season

Dom looks way more physically ready for first grade, wasn't getting pushed back like he did last season

Mann ok but not sure how successful an attack built around him as a first receiver will fare over a whole season

Randall is a workhorse and will hold his own in defence but his service out of dummy half isn't great, often slow

Jirah's hands let him down but like him as an athlete on the edge, should cement himself in the top 17 this season

Leo Thompson looks like he's made out of concrete. If all he can do is hit hard in defence then you've already got a cheaper Josh King replacement, if he can make an impact in attack you're laughing

Experienced players mostly going through the motion, as expected
